Always go to the main bank branch for the province that you are in to open your bank accounts because the outer province branches are useless and do not have the staff with the knowledge that is needed. One big thing is that if you open the account in a different province to the branch that you use you will be hit with these "out of province" fees every time you use the account. Chumpae is in the Khon Kaen Province so go to the main branch in Khon Kaen and not one of the other branches.

From memory if any countries military fired a military weapon across a border into another country it was actually a declaration of war and the country being attacked had the full right to defend itself including crossing the border into the other country to eliminate all threats by any means it wishes which could lead to a full invasion. Well gentlemen here is an automatic system update for you. I was away for the last couple of nights and was on a different computer but when I returned home this morning I was going to try some of the suggestions so I turned the laptop on and surprise, surprise it fired up into the following screen. "windows is updating" then the percentage sign and "do not turn the computer off" so I let it do its thing and when it finished I tried to log in the normal way on the normal screen and it worked so everything is back to normal. I think that there must have been a bit of feedback to Microsoft and their gliche so they got their rear end into gear and fixed the thing. So thank you gentlemen for all you help, I will remember a lot of the things that a lot of you have told me incase something like this ever happens again. Merry Christmas to you all.

I have just gone into settings on this computer and it states under the Windows updates that you can only pause the Windows updates for 7 days but I have also seen somewhere that you can pause the updates for a maximum of 35 days but I cannot remember where it was

You used to be able to go to Savannakhet and get a 1 year multi entry marriage visa but you had to leave Thailand every 90 days (border run) instead of being able to do a 90 day report. It was quite handy for some as depending where you lived it was easier to do the border run than muck around going to an immigration office and doing a 90 day report. I used it as a day out and to do some shopping at Villa Market at Udon Thani for some good old western foods on the way back home

First job after leaving school was for 12 years in the Royal Australian Navy as a clearance diver with 2 stints in Vietnam during the war and after my discharge worked for Australian Immigration in the investigation section going and raiding farms for the illegal workers and after 10 years they decided I was too old for field work and were going to transfer me to a desk job at an airport but I told them to shove it and left and got a job as an armed cash delivery driver until they said I was too old for that and transferred me to another transport section where I stayed until I got a workplace injury at the age of 68 (retirement age was 65) and was forced into retirement and moved here 9 years ago as I can live a pain drug free life here because of the constant climate and not the up and down climate in Australia.

Ok, I tried opening the laptop via the Bios and I used the ESC key whilst turning the laptop on but it would not open the Bios so that I could select "Safe Mode". It just went straight to go into Windows with the same result as before.

Windows 10 major update to version 21H1 October 5 2020. This was a minor update that they got wrong

On 7th December when I shutdown one of my laptops it went into the automatic Microsoft Update before closing down and the following morning I started the laptop and it went through the usual update procedure before it opened the programs but when it came to the screen to sign in it was different because instead of the box under my name that I put my password in there was just a sign that said "sign in" and when I click on that it says "Just a moment" and the usual little wheel rotates but then it goes back to the "Sign in" screen and the computer does not open. I contacted Microsoft Support on December 8 and they told me it was a gliche in the system and to wait for 1 hour and try again. Well I waited and nothing changed so I packed the laptop away as it cannot be used and this morning December 10 I got the laptop out and tried it but it is still the same as December 8. Laptop unusable. Anyone else have any problems with Microsoft Updates?

Well today 27/11/21 it was advertised in Khon Kaen for walk-in vaccinations at Central Plaza Khon Kaen the vaccinations were 1: Sinovac - Sinovac 2: Astra Zeneca - Astra Zeneca 3: Astra Zeneca - Pfizer and 4: Pfizer - Pfizer. So I took the wife along and we arrived at about 12:30 and there were not that many people there so the wife went to the desk to check in and was told "Sorry, but there are no more vaccines available we have run out" They had run out of all the vaccines by 12:30 which means that they didn't have much because Central Plaza in Khon Kaen does not open until 11:00, so they had used all the vaccines in one and a half hours. So they told the wife that a walk-in vaccination was going to be open near Makro Khon Kaen on Monday through to Friday next week and the wife asked then if Pfizer - Pfizer was going to be available and they told her that Pfizer - Pfizer was reserved for children between the ages of 12 to 17 and not available for anyone else. The Minister of Health has stated that people who booked and paid for Moderna should forget about it and get Pfizer instead. How can a person get Pfizer instead of Moderna as the dear Mr Anutin has stated when it is reserved for children between 12 and 17 only. Before anyone says she should get Astra Zeneca instead remember I did post on here that her daughter was forced to have Astra Zeneca and ended up in ICU in a coma and thankfully to the medical staff she is now out of ICU and should be out of hospital in the next couple of days but the doctor told the whole family do not have Astra Zeneca because it is unknown if there could be a genetic link that will effect other family members. So dear Minister of Health Anutin where is this replacement Pfizer to take the place of the Moderna vaccine that you have told the people to get and forget about the Moderna when the only Pfizer that we have found is reserved for children 12 to 17 years of age only. So why are people not getting vaccinated? Because this government has stuffed everything up.

I got Pfizer shot 1 on 27th Sept and shot 2 on 18th Oct at Bangkok Hospital in Khon Kaen for free, but you had to register at the hospital and it was for foreigners only and it was limited numbers available and since then, nothing. What I will do with the 2 Moderna shots is go in April and have 1 booster shot and then go again in October and have the other as a booster shot if needed. I've had both my paid for Moderna shots that way unless they decide that you must have your 2 shots in a short period of time.

I reckon I could buy 6 fully automatic Samsung dishwashers and install them and make a nice profit at 90,000 per month. Happy Days are here again Yippee
