  1. That is right until it goes through Chinese Customs and leaves China when it is handed over to LEX for the remainder of the delivery then it is what LEX puts on the tracking and not the seller. This order has gone past the sellers point and is in the hands of LEX so it is Lazada that does the tracking reports
  2. Lazada tracking shows that the order has left China and is on the way to Thailand and it has been that way since March 4
  3. On the 27th February I place 2 orders for products from 2 different sellers in China. According to Lazada's tracking both orders were packed and shipped on the same day and both went through Chinese Customs at the same time March 4. Now 1 of the orders continued and was delivered in Khon Kaen on March 6 while the other order is still on its way to Thailand and today I get an email from Lazada Customer Service advising me that my order has been delayed because the border is closed. My question is if the border is closed when both these orders came through then how come 1 order gets through and the other order gets stopped. I personally think that Lazada Customer Service are telling big porkies to save face. I believe that the border is not closed but Lazada Express has either lost the order or they have stuffed up somewhere.
  4. and when the new investigation team find the same things that the old investigation team found then they will not be satisfied with that team and will want a new team again and again until they find a team that will give them the results that they want whether it is the truth or not.
  5. I only get a 1 year statement and the standard bank letter to show I have an account and that is all I have had to do since the embassy letters stopped. No special letter required. Maybe where to problem is, is that the OP is trying to have separate monthly statements instead of a 1 year statement which shows every deposit from overseas even if 1 transaction is missed in the updated bankbook it still shows on the statement
  6. Thai's have never been big in burying bodies so at a guess I would say that 75 years ago some Thai's found the body and had it cremated at the local Temple.
  7. You just do not get it in your thick skull the motorbike was illegally overtaking the buggy by Thai law and that is why the police charged the bike rider
  8. Section 46 of the Thai Road Traffic Act clearly states that you are not allowed to overtake a vehicle within 30 metres of the pedestrian crossing which includes on the pedestrian crossing because on the approach to and on the pedestrian crossing it is a solid lane marker and it is an offence to cross that lane marker
  9. It is the law definition not your definition. The bike rider overtook the vehicle in front of him within 30 metres of the pedestrian crossing. So, YES the bike rider is in the wrong. Some people just cannot understand the law or they are just trolls.
  10. It is quite easy to see that you do not abide by the road laws, that is if you can drive. It is and always has been an offence to overtake a turning vehicle whether that vehicle is turning left or right.
  11. Get your eyes tested and have another look at the video and you will see that the golf buggy was not changing lanes at all. He was going to do a right hand turn. He was not turning into someone as you claim, that someone had broken the law by trying to pass on a pedestrian crossing.
  12. You should read Section 46 of the Thai Road Traffic Act where it clearly states that you are not allowed to overtake another vehicle within 30 metres of a pedestrian crossing and that is exactly what this bike rider did. Bike rider guilty of breaching this rule. The golf buggy was in the right hand lane, he was not changing lanes.
  13. Check out Section 46 of the Land Traffic Act, 2522 (1979) (400-1000B) It is an offence to overtake another vehicle within 30M of a pedestrian Crossing. The video shows the bike rider overtake the golf buggy AT the pedestrian crossing so the bike rider has broken the law as it is written
  14. As a "qualified driving instructor" answer this. Do you instruct your pupils to cross an unbroken centre line to overtake a vehicle in front of them? Every pedestrian crossing in every country has a unbroken centre lane marking on the lead up side of a pedestrian crossing to tell the drivers/riders that they are not allowed to overtake at that point. This bike rider overtook a vehicle at the pedestrian crossing so it would mean that he crossed that unbroken centre line which is against the law and that would be the reason that the BIB charged him.
  15. The OP sounds very much like an American I came across in Savvanakhet about 3-4 years ago who had the same arrogant attitude. This idiot in Savvanakhet carried on about he doesn't have to give them a copy of his passport information page because he has been coming there for 13 years and they have enough copies of his information page, well he carried on like a right royal goose when he got to the window and they told him to go across the street and get his passport page copied. He became real abusive and refused to move away from the window so the girl called security who had to physically remove him from the area. He must have settled down a bit because the next afternoon when you pick up your Visa he was there and he carried on again when he was informed that his 1 Year Multi Entry Marriage Visa was rejected because he only had 2 months left on his passport. He could not even return to Thailand so he had to travel to the American Embassy in Vientianne and stay there until his new passport arrived and then go through all this procedure again. No sympathy for anyone who takes that type of attitude.
  16. You have all got it wrong including the police. It was a dirty drunken farang dressed as a woman who had his visa extension rejected because that is where Udon Thani Immigration is located. You lot just cannot accept that it is always a dirty farang, especially if it is near an IM office.
  17. Where have you been Boomer because the grandparents have been bringing up their grand children for decades here in Thailand while mum and dad both go to work and even live in different provinces. So it is nothing new for the grandparent to take their grandchildren to hospital
  18. I think you might find it is because of all these Covid extensions that are also under consideration that there is a much bigger workload. My last extension took 6 weeks to be approved, there was nothing wrong with the application but it was just the extra time waiting for the extension stamp
  19. Google Maps could not find there way out of a wet paper bag. I listed my wife's business with the actual street address but Google Maps did not like the location so they moved it to an area about 3 kilometres away from where the business is located and it did not matter how many times I tried to edit the location they stil0l had it listed at the wrong location so I gave up and removed the listing because Google Maps are nothing but a bunch of incompetent idiots.
  20. Your last paragraph is wrong about the younger immigration officers because it is not their call as to what documents are needed for your Covid Extension. With the Covid Extensions it is not the local IO that give the approval, they can only put a "under consideration" stamp in your passport while all the required documents are sent to the divisional headquarters for approval. It is the divisional headquarters of each region that stipulates what documents are required and not the local IO.
  21. I went to make enquiries at Bangkok Hospital in Khon Kaen this morning and the information I was given is that they only have Moderna available for the booster shots at the moment and you must have 3 months since your last injection. The wife has told me that she was told by the people at the Wufu Market injection site that on day 21 this month that there will be a walk in for Pfizer booster shots on the second floor at Fairy Plaza.
  22. The exemption was not granted by the Australian Government. It was granted by Tennis Australia and that makes a big difference. He must meet all the same requirements as anyone else entering Australia and it appears that he has failed to produce certain documentation to Australian Border Forces which is required by every person who wants to enter Australia. At a guess I would say that because he is number 1 tennis champion in the world and Tennis Australia gave him an exemption he thought that he would just waltz into Australia with his nose in the air and without abiding by all the rules and the paperwork that is required. Deport him the same as what is done to the average person, do not treat him as something special.
  23. Normally what they have asked for is an update of the book showing a deposit/withdrawal transaction on the day you go to immigration to show that the account is active. These no book accounts could be a problem. I think immigration will have to look at this requirement as there are more expats starting to use these no book bank accounts.
  24. I would like to know where were all the police check points over the weekend? I drove from Khon Kaen to Kalison on Friday and back to Khon Kaen on Saturday afternoon and not one police checkpoint the whole time. How many DUI drivers on the road at those times? anyones guess.
  25. Your last sentence does not apply because I was not going keyboard warrior during times of lowered inhibition such as when drunk as you presume incorrectly as I do not drink. The actual fact turned out to be a timeframe issue for doing edits.
