  1. I watched it when it first arrived a few months back, its average OK, popped up again this week and I mistakenly downloaded it again only to find I have seen it, shan't be watching it again though..... Looks like a recommendation to me - thanks. @BritManToo / @Rimmer
  2. If "not working" means when you click on the link, nothing happens, you need to copy & paste the link into another browser window. This was changed a while back to improve security on ASEANNOW
  3. I did sign quite a few forms and had to provide information that I have already provided about tax residency and my Thai TIN. It took about 4 attempts for the CS rep to take the required photos of me. I had to fill in forms on the CS rep's tablet and considering that the CS rep doesn't speak English and my Thai is not good enough to hold a conversation, I think 30 minutes is quite reasonable.
  4. Yes, they registered my UK white (well slightly tanned) face. They requested my passport but as far as I could see, they only referenced the passport ID page but did not check my permission to stay.
  5. Same for me.
  6. Rare, but not impossible. HSBC bank (UK) have been sending new credit & debit cards to me in Thailand for over a decade.
  7. Yes. I registered for KPlus facial recognition yesterday at my local Kasikorn branch.
  8. Yes, I still have the notification. Maybe that will change on/after July 2. There is an update for the KPlus app which I installed and when you select "Change Transaction Limits" there is an extra option to set the limit for transactions which require a face scan. It is set at 50000 baht, but you have the option to set it lower than that if you require more control. I cant do a screenshot to show the change due to restrictions in the app and I cant be arsed to take a screenshot using alternative methods.
  9. Update: Just been to my local Kasikorn branch (60 Km round trip) armed with my passport and bank book. There was no queue in the bank so I was attended to immediately. It took around 30 minutes which I was happy with, especially since it looked like the customer service rep had never gone through the process with a foreigner. I was also issued with a new bank book, same as others have stated on this thread. All quite painless really.
  10. Yes, I watched all 5 seasons of El Marginal quite a while ago and enjoyed it.
  11. Thanks @oxo1947. I'll have a look at anything with Stephen Graham in the cast.
  12. I agree with @Stocky. I'm from the UK and Kasikorn have a record of my Thai tax id, so I think it's simply because we are not registered for facial recognition yet.
