  1. I wouldn't bet against it...
  2. I see. So, in a nutshell, Non "B" and Non "ED" extension holders cannot leave overland if not cancelled. And if, say, I had a mix of visa-free entries and/or TV or Non "O" (visas and) extensions (retirement, marriage) during an extended stay in Thailand, I can as well flip a coin, thanks to the IO's power of discretion?

  12. So, the IO must have thought that you want to come right back, but would be denied entry. That's why the flight suggestion...
  13. This is Thailand; whoever is (already) ruling AND powerful is right... (I'm being sarcastic.)
  14. Never heard of such a rule. But I wonder what happens, if one tries to exit this way on the last (or second-last) day of one's permitted stay, is refused, and needs, say 2-3 days to travel to Bangkok and book a flight. Will one still get an 'overstay' stamp into the passport, and be liable to pay an overstay fine?
  15. A hell of a time to (try to) cross such a border; 11 p.m.?
  16. A good start would be stopping the burning of sugarcane, other agricultural byproducts, household waste, etc. Carbon neutrality?? Perhaps by 2566 (Gregorian calendar)...
