  1. OP, mention immigration office for best advice. Some first hand reports in attached thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1309484-filing-a-first-time-tm30-when-you-own-and-live-in-a-condo-what-documents-are-needed-exactly/
  2. If you decide to visit for short stay with return ticket that should not be an issue. For next return after that you can obtain eVisa non O in UK or enter visa exempt and obtain non O at local immigration office. If you do not have a Thai bank account in your name only then obtaining non O retirement in UK better option.
  3. OP, you should be ok to return to Thailand visa exempt especially with proof of return flight. Have had copy print out. You mention AO.... Do you mean a non O-A? That you would obtain in UK? Not good option Edit: you state ...." I'm tempted to fly back this month (probably the 17th) for two weeks or 10 days to help with the move" You serious. One of the many things I find amazing about Thailand is that you can any level of assistance from services here. Stay in UK and send folding to help with move.
  4. The OP has not posted since starting this thread. Zero interest and clarification. Thread closed.
  5. Retirement not a problem. The OP concerns non O based on marriage and extensions based on marriage. Different requirements and process. OP,s wife may not be in Thailand
  6. Old thread however some useful links. https://aseannow.com/topic/1211680-process-for-us-citizen-getting-married-in-thailand-ubon/
  7. Assume NZ embassy..... Here is thread on subject https://aseannow.com/topic/1299025-income-affidavit-sample/
  8. Cut and paste from ubonjoe post in old thread.... "The Kor Ror 3 is your fancy marriage certificate you got from the Amphoe. The Kor Ror 2 is the marriage registry. You or your wife can get one at any Amphoe for 20 baht. Some offices want them to be dated within 30 days of application. My wife gets a new one just before we go to apply for the extension."
  9. Thinking you have missed opportunity for good advice. No details of type of rental required. Your title mentions "house"
  10. Your advice is poor and you have not understood the OP situation.
  11. Don't follow. 5 weeks = 35 days. At Korat you could already do extension 30 days prior to expiry. Immigration can be far more flexible than extra 5
  12. Yes the wife would need to be with him when he applies for the 60 day extension. Thinking he could apply early prior to wife leaving. Depends on his dates and how helpful immigration would be.
  13. Have you previously obtained a 60 day extension to visit wife? You could do that to push the renewal back by 2 momths
  14. Flame post and reply removed
  15. Post ONE pic of you very colorful trip to Kho Chang One million booze and top shelf escorts. What's wrong with you. We all like a yarn but keep it remotely believable
  16. You bang on same tune. The visa exempt 60 day will be temporary. In 6+ months time will tell. Anyone planing trip to Thailand I say 2025 would be poorly advised to rely on 60 day visa exempt. Not a big deal. Alternatives available.
  17. I take your point. The ones that are clearly 100% fictional I don't see the point. Mindless ramblings. Attention seeking
  18. Sadly imo community pub forum has basically zero accountability. Lonely hearts spitting out daily threads for personal needs. In other words Needy Folk.. Some threads in pub interesting however many from very few spoil for so many.
  19. You could obtain a non O based on marriage from Thai embassies/consulate or eVisa if available+ 60 day extension to visit wife. That option would avoid need to exit Thailand. Also enter visa exempt (60 days) + 30 day extension + 60 day extension to visit wife. Border bounce also an option
  20. Fine. Folk such as yourself can assist forum with arrangements and cost. Rather than just naming most well known agent in Bangkok. @ThaiVisaCentre can you advise. I recently gave detailed costing for annual extensions at Maneerat agent Pattaya.
  21. Did you read the OP. It was questioning visa v visa exempt entry. Folk on annual extensions would be foolish to read into alternative
  22. You have posted similar previously. Perhaps post link to agents that provide "meet and greet" assistance for visa exempt entries via air.. Not interested in land border run companies services.
  23. Perhaps. If the visa exempt entries were via air and short ish time spent out of Thailand thinking possible issue with immigration.. Also time will tell how long 60 day visa exempt will continue.
