  1. You have a non O based on marriage? You can apply for 60 day extension to visit wife. Usually that would be done in last couple of weeks of expiry of your stamp
  2. The OP was giving report. I would think everyone living in Thailand on extensions from non O would be very aware of option of using an agent for extensions based on retirement. The 12,500b you parrot is from agents in Pattaya. Your post is off topic and boring. OP did not ask about agents.
  3. Are you living ongoing in Thailand. Why did you need to do a TM30? Was your 90 day report due and you took opportunity to file TM47 while you were there?
  4. Which immigration office. You cannot obtain certificate of residence at CW without 90 day report.
  5. I understand your concerns. This won't help much but prior to covid I was flying out/in Thailand maybe 2 times a month. I would sometimes observe folk next counter being questioned. A clear itinerary with planned stay seemed to be best option. A flight out (you can rent a flight 12usd) also good addition. Funds 20k is a given but they can ignore. Good luck
  6. Might be messy but you could provide a TM30 or rental agreement (even if a dud) at normal office such as CW to obtain a non O. The issue is that you would need to obtain 12 month extension at that office. Perhaps attend Roi Et office and obtain first hand info. Fall back would be use other office. Would require a TM30 at the very least
  7. The 8.5 month validity is not huge issue. It just means that you extension from non O retirement will have expiry dated till expiry of pp. No big deal. You lose few months. You should ditch non O-A and enter Thailand visa exempt and obtain a non O at your immigration office and subsequent extension.
  8. More important when date next entry to Thailand with SETV or visa exempt if TV Not approved.
  9. Bit off topic but cop this... Few months back I asked Thai partner to go renew her expired pp. So next day trotted off to local place that can accept application. Now the punch line. The new pp was EMS mailed to our condo two days later. I would beg for 3/4 weeks in Oz.
  10. Are you that needy you need to post repetitive statements. Many folk in the thread have asked @Red Phoenix to pm advice I also did some time ago and it's way more concise than your option.
  11. I won't sidetrack the topic. However to be clear. If you are doing a 90 day report .. Presumably you obtained a non O and have extension and hence need a 90 report? How did you return to Thailand? Meaning visa status
  12. Back to your OP. I'm not sure why you needed a TM30 to make your 90 day report. Have you recently returned to Thailand or changed address etc.
  13. That occured when there was change of head guy Big Joke. The new guy that replaced him had to be seen to do something and randomly selected TM30. To be fair it was across the board and most immigration offices started enforcing it. Good news it only lasted couple of months. Many people were fined 800b.
  14. The reports I was referring to were folk with fast track access. No wheelchair situations were mentioned.
  15. That's correct however you can still use priority lane and walk back to zone 2 and access the reentry permit office. Sounds crazy since you are airside however many have reported that they did exactly that.
  16. No changes to current requirements using money in the bank method for extensions based on retirement. Rule #1 : disregard almost anything stated by I L
  17. 30 day extension starts from end of 30 day stamp. It's common to apply for 30 day extension couple of weeks prior to expiry. Not sure how many days Roiet need to apply for non O. Most offices minimum 15. CM 21. Assume you have Thai bank account OP you may be interested in this thread. Bit of worry. https://aseannow.com/topic/1296821-some-imm-offices-refusing-to-do-the-change-of-visa-process-applying-for-90-day-non-imm-o-visa-from-a-visaexempt-entry/
  18. When there are many transactions in a particular month they can be "consolidated" Totalled up so not every transaction is entered into bank book. Unrelated : I had trouble at CW using money in bank method for retirement extension. I use a dedicated bank account and maintain 800k all year round. No consolidated entries. All good one would imagine. NO .....they were not happy that some months had zero entries. You can't win with immigration
  19. You are very confused. Provide information re your pp country and options to stay in Thailand and you will receive advice. Your OP is vague at best. No one is "invited to stay" Perhaps a transition problem. Just outline what you trying to do.
  20. It is very clear what is required for a non O based on marriage and also very clear what is required for subsequent 12month extension. The OP has better options than your other earlier post . "Visa exempt , extension to visa exempt (1900 baht) , None O (2000 baht) extension to non O (1900) so total 6000 baht , and you get 5 months Am I correct?" .. Possible but foolish option.
  21. You were able to open bank account because you have a non-O The yellow book had nothing to do with it. A non O and eg rental agreement would have been sufficient. In fact the non O alone would cut it with some banks. I opened new account with Kasikorn (yes 2 years ago) With pp. I'm on extensions from non O. Had a lease and TM47 . From memory were not looked at. Things have changed a lot (esp Bangkok) in last couple of years due to money laundering laws.
  22. What is status in Thailand? Which province. If you are on extensions from eg a non O, a certificate of residence would not be required at some banks
  23. This has been asked previously. I'm not aware of "rule" that would prevent it however there are other easy options. Just one example is to enter visa exempt and obtain 60 day extension to visa wife. Depends how long is planned visits.
