  1. Age? If under 50 marry the chick as you can't afford a PE visa or any of the other options.
  2. I did exactly that 3 weeks ago and certificate of residence was required at Chatuchak. Pink ID would not cut it. Back to your comment re opening a bank account.... You stated in reply to status in Thailand. "Non O Thai wife - December 2022 - BKK" I have already stated that a extensions from a non O would be sufficient until recently to open bank account. Anyway enough. Don't accept your account for TDL renewal.
  3. At a guess you have extensions from a non O or similar. When did you open account last year and which province. From my previous post.... "I opened a new account at another bank couple of years ago however I had extensions from non O Also rental agreement ( can't recall if that was even necessary. Kasikorn bank" )
  4. It's a very recent change. I opened a new account at another bank couple of years ago however I had extensions from non O. Also rental agreement ( can't recall if that was even necessary. Kasikorn bank. At the same time Bangkok Bank straight up refused even with my non O. They wanted certificate of residence or letter from embassy. This was all in Bangkok. Things have changed a LOT even in last several months. Perhaps now not even possible to open bank account with visa exempt stamp. Even places such as Jomtien requiring COR. The issue in Bangkok (at CW) is to obtain COR you need to have made a TM47. Not possible on tourist visa. BTW for TDL the transport offices require a COR. Thinking previously Pink ID cut it. The added scrutiny seems to be down to money laundering laws.
  5. From the OP... "I stated to open a bank account..." A Yellow book would be useless. He requires a certificate of residence.
  6. There is a motor vehicle forum. One of the mods will move thread for you.
  7. Your assumption is correct. The only time that you would bother to printout your TM47 confirmation is eg attending immigration to obtain something the requires it.
  8. Online works ok after reentry. After filling in name and pp # hit the magnifying glass ???? that auto fills rest of the fields. Must remember to change entered date.
  9. You cannot do it at another immigration office. You can use online option link in first reply OR Do the Report via mail.
  10. Don't waste time re immigration office. Just exit Thailand via airport no issue. Yes show both pp. They may transfer your visa exempt entry stamp and extension stamp. Either way no problem
  11. Out of interest please provide one actual example. You stated ..."I usually find fully refundable onward ticket...." Airline and route and cost. My experience is very different. Especially with low cost airlines. Even when select cancellation protection. In any event it's one of 4 options. You also stated ,., "having a real usable ticket incase questioned by an immigration officer upon arrival." That is nonsense.
  12. Fact is you had an issue at CW with a most simple process. All we get on ASEAN Now is posters side of things. Immigration officers don't get right of reply. Clearly your paperwork was not complete. You stated ...."the IO who added 4 items to my address now all finished." Why should io need to fill in basic form for people. You started a thread re COR at CW. Some time ago. In that thread ubonjoe posted link to form that is CW specific... Here it is . https://aseannow.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=439173 The form does not have "open bank account" option
  13. Seems that you were not fully prepared. I attended CW 3 weeks ago with appointment for 90 day report. The same io made photocopy of TM47 and processed my certificate of residence. Brilliant service. No TM30 required. TM47 is a must.
  14. I can fully understand why some folk choose the convince of the option outlined above. (rent a flight) Would be my choice.
  15. The certificate of residence does not state the reason. Why didn't you just tell them name of a bank or say TDL. What type of visa did you enter Thailand.
  16. You are confused. You obtained a non O based on marriage in your own country. That is a single entry visa and gives you a 90 day permission of stay stamp upon entry. At that point your non O marriage is USED. Prior to your permission of stay expiring and with 15+ days you apply for 12 months extension of your permission of stay. You do not have a visa. Alternatively you could have obtained a ME Non O marriage visa that is valid for 12 months. Some countries provide that option. In Thailand region the go to place for that visa is Savannakhet.
  17. That's a good question. Many folk in Thailand married opt to obtain ME non O based on marriage from Savannakhet. Hopefully some guys doing that can advise.
  18. Nice work Mike. OP this requirement is for check in at departure for airline. Thinking this option ~S12 USD
