You need to get the credit advice from Bangkok Bank. You didn't receive the 12 month stamp for your most recent entry as you did not have insurance.

He was in forum 30 minutes ago. Just ridiculous not to address his own OP. Happens all the time. States in OP that he has valid non O-A. Waste of time.
-
Where did OP state that he has been obtaining ongoing extensions from his non O-A. The OP stated ...."My O-A visa expires on Dec 5 and I'll change to an O visa. " Just another example of confusion from OP,s that do not state correct information and expect helpful replies. Also do not contribute to their own thread.

Pink Monorail to Changwattana Immigration?
DrJack54 replied to ricklev's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Sorry missed the "pink line" comment. Off topic but useful to some.... If anyone wants to know the exact routes of future rail lines just Google "GregtoDiffer" this guy has provided link to all new lines and you can have it embedded into your Google maps. Great for those interested in real estate purchase through to place to live in Bangkok.. -

Not sure but think @Red Phoenix wrote a road map on this. -
OP, assume that you are aware that if your O-A visa is still valid you can border bounce prior to Dec 5 and obtain another 12 month permission of stay. Of course you would need to obtain insurance for that period. Aside from that...how long have you had the funds in Thai bank account in your name only. Jomtien is rogue and as pointed out previously have been asking for 2 months seasoning on day of application for non O which of course is not correct.. As for proof funds came from o/s you can obtain "credit advice" from bank.

Pink Monorail to Changwattana Immigration?
DrJack54 replied to ricklev's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
From Laksi (red line) you can grab a bike or taxi. Not far to CW immigration -
Think that's best option. Regarding reentry permit...seems you will only require single reentry permit. That can be obtained on same visit to immigration for your extension. Single reentry 1000b . Multi 3800b. Can also obtain at airport on day of departure. The window you need to keep eye on is your extension. Obviously you need to be in Thailand to apply. That can be done up to 30 days prior to expiry of your permit or 45 days prior at some offices.

You do not have a "good old retirement visa" You have a 12 month permission of stay. One option to spend 6 months in Thailand and 6 in USA is to simply continue to re apply for annual extension of your permission of stay. The 90 day report is irrelevant. You will do those during your 6 months in Thailand. You do not need to notify immigration that you are leaving country at any point. Insurance is not required for extensions from a non O . I also use money in the bank method. My most recent extension was last Oct. I'm changing to "income method" . For the next 12 months I will maintain the 800k+ in Thai bank and at same time do monthly transfers of 65k+ AU is same as USA in that embassy does not provide income letter. My overlap of both methods for one year is to cover any possible nonsense from immigration. There are other ways of spending 6 months in Thailand....however thinking annual extensions best option

Excellent experience at CW this afternoon
DrJack54 replied to Griffo63's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Not surprised. For my 10+ extensions have always been treated very well. COR at CW requires 200b fee which covers the EMS post. You do not return to collect.. As for all your other nonsense such as broken toilets, cold food, parking issues etc are all rubbish.. BTW as pointed out in the thread the appointment system at CW works a treat.. Here is appointment link.. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/ -

You could have simply obtained Re-entry permit at airport. Obtaining 3 reentry permits at CW was pretty foolish. -

If you have positive recent experience at CW by all means post details to assist forum. Otherwise your earlier post is useless. Personally I have posted every report of my extensions at CW. Done to assist others. Your post in this thread is useless without details . -

Perhaps if you posted a complete report of your positive experience today regarding exactly what you provided immigration at CW for extension that would be useful. Otherwise your post is somewhat useless. -
Non Imm Multi O and onward travel
DrJack54 replied to Alidiver's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Normally an onward flight would be required in the visa application. Once the visa is issued it would be unusual for airline to want to see proof of onward flight.. Don't understand why you had this issue. Thanks for the alert. -

I also use dedicated bank account with min 800k all year round. At CW the io wanted Bank Statements as there were some months with no transactions. That was a first, never required previously. BTW ..you did not provide TM30 or rental agreement? -

DrJack54 replied to Griffo63's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks for report. I assume you were given a ticket because you went to document check chicks first. No need to attend main desk on entry. You should also have a print out of your confirmation email. TM47 has been added to required docs. Note that you did not provide Bank Statements and io accepted copies of bankbook pages. Not always the case. You did not receive priority for 70+. With appointment you are seen on time and sometimes early. -
Did you consider Nong Khai friendship bridge. Wherever you choose it will be a 30 day stamp. Where are you located (Korat)?

TM30 question when taking a holiday
DrJack54 replied to DonniePeverley's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes, if you need to have dealings with immigration such as a 30 day extension -
A non O cost is 2000 baht. Would require 800k in a Thai bank account in his name only on day of application. Needs to show funds came from overseas. Require some basic photocopies of PP. Also a TM30 or rental agreement. Requires minimum 15 days remaining on current permission of stay. 21 days at eg CM. Which immigration office will he use.
