  1. You most likely would not had an issue at for eg Nong Khai friendship bridge. Think you are currently in PP? If planning to fly into Thailand make sure that you have 20k baht or equivalent currency. The airline will require you to provide proof of onward flight. Have a clear prepared "story" of your plans in Thailand and print out of onward flight.
  2. Read ubonjoe post. You stated...... "....... from the day the one year O is given." No such animal. There is a non 0 that gives a 90 day stamp. Subsequently you can apply for a 12 month extension. The day you obtain the extension starts 90 day clock.
  3. Your first extension due date is 90 days from application for extension.
  4. Extended for 30 days . Cost 1900b. If obtaining extension in Bangkok you will attend Laksi immigration office and not CW immigration
  5. You need to obtain screenshot of TM30 from owner and have it with you if you need to have dealings with immigration.
  6. Single entry. Skip the guarantor. Address...just write some random hotel. Period of stay 60 days. Apply for extension later. If you are entering prior to march 31 why bother with tourist visa. Just enter visa exempt.
  7. Very recently covered Feb of 2023 and I also posted link to 2019 thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1286300-age-limit-for-studented-visa/
  8. What's your point. From other posts you deal with Trat. Useless post The OP is dealing CM
  9. Who cares. You don't need a visa or work permit to live in HH. This travel log thread is ridiculous.
  10. Ridiculous thread. Travel log. Nothing to do with this forum. Just chit chat about one Thai location vs other options. General discussion forum at best.
  11. What is stopping you from opening a separate bank account. They are basically free. Maintain a dedicated bank account for your pension transfers and another account for your daily banking needs.
  12. Couple of years old but very clear report. Might assist. You should state what method that you are using. Money in bank or income method https://aseannow.com/topic/1224751-marriage-visa-extension-guide-chiang-mai/
  13. You also stated.... She just needed Passport pages copied, real passport to view and keep for two weeks CW held onto your passport for two weeks? Nup.
  14. The norm for Income method requires bank statements.
  15. You stated the following... "That requirement is in respect of extensions, rather than visas" Referring to funds need to come from abroad. That's incorrect. Simple.
  16. 9 months would be plenty to not need to show funds came from abroad. Many folk have killed off non O-A and used existing funds to obtain non O retirement in Thailand.
  17. No proof of origin of funds required for extensions . Obtaining a non O retirement inside Thailand requires proof funds came from abroad
  18. Nonsense. Some folk need to show bank statements at CW if they use a day to day bank account and as a result can have consolidated transactions. There are many folk that use a dedicated bank account to park the funds in. Also there are many folks that use an FD account. I have never provided bank statements at CW. Last November for current extension the immigration officer pointed out that she wanted to see an entry every month. That was a surprise however easily done.
  19. The OP in this thread has changed address. OP second post..... "We moved house in December." Some folk are insisting that TM30 is responsibility of the owner.
  20. My post was in reply to someone stating that bank statements are required and I was pointing out that I have obtained all my extensions without bank statements. Of course all the other requirements need to met and provided such as TM7 etc. Your point?
  21. Here is yet another thread some time ago where two very experienced guys (one being uj) have quoted you and point out your misunderstanding. Both on first page.
  22. Sez who? Not all folk applying for an extension are doing annual extensions and also have a Thai wife living in her home. For the majority married or not they are renting. Some even own their own condo etc. The person applying for extension may be required to show proof of a TM30. That my be as simple as obtaining a screenshot from hotel where you are staying. It may be doing the TM30 as possessor etc. Bottom line is it's the applicants responsibly to provide docs for immigration. Your advice is poor and shows little knowledge. In the main based on your experience of wife being fined some years ago.
  23. Exactly. Ignore some poorly informed posts. It is YOUR responsibility to provide all the required docs.
  24. Still stating incorrect information regarding TM30. Have a read of threads. Perhaps ubonjoe first reply in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1125664-tm30-fines/
