  1. You would have been out of Thailand for bit over a month when you return. Some may suggest a visa exempt entry no issue. Since you are wanting to stay "month or so" Thinking your best option is a eVisa tourist visa obtained while you are in UK. Provides 60 day stay with option for 30 day extension.
  2. If your current location facilitates eVisa them obtain a SETV..
  3. Think you have left it too late for Vientiane as that requires appointment and booked out in advance. There was recent report of guy with similar history to yourself being refused TV at Savannakhet. Strangely then obtained a TV at Vientiane.
  4. So based on your thread July 18 at that time you had been in Thailand for 4 months then did a border run with visa exempt entry plus 30 day extension. (6 months so far) Now plan on obtaining tourist visa. Good luck.
  5. True. However the OP is in Thailand and been on extensions based on retirement from his other posts.
  6. So you have 2 visa exempt entries via land both then extended. Presumably prior to this you entered Thailand visa exempt via air. So when did you enter Thailand and how many days out of Thailand? PP would not be good option for tourist visa
  7. True that visas are not transfered however information reference to the visa is so no need to carry both passports. OP, note that there have been reports of some offices requiring your bankbook.
  8. Leaving Permanently? Yes she is correct. Why even start a thread. TM47 report is not looked at by immigration at exit. Even if you are returning very unlikely it would cause an issue.
  9. Depends on your country. Some countries have eVisa for Thailand available. Also your passport determines any nearby countries you can enter visa exempt My receipt would be enter Thailand visa exempt followed by 5+ days in Saigon (return flights are cheap) and then another visa exempt into Thailand. = 65+ days.
  10. No they didn't. For monthly transfers they want to monthly transfers from abroad. Not the case using money in the bank method. Yes you can obtain a ME Non O marriage from Savannakhet. Exit Thailand without a reentry permit and obtain new visa. Thinking you a slightly confused about "ME Non O" That is a visa valid for one year and you need to exit Thailand every 90 days. This thread explains it. The report from the OP is detailed.
  11. Reports that using online for 90 day report after reentry has been successful. Need to change enter date on application.
  12. Did you go to your bank. What can happen is WISE sends funds to a Bank such as Bangkok Bank or Kasikorn and then they send it to your bank. You should be able to obtain "credit advice" from bank that the funds came from overseas. Edit: just noticed OP had trouble for 12 month extension. Funds do not need to come from abroad for extensions.
  13. Yes. Date of entry counts as day 1. If you have been doing reports online you can still use autofill but remember to scroll to entry date to change that field.
  14. The OP is not thai. It's not a simple process. Read threads regarding the topic. Very old thread attached. https://aseannow.com/topic/74745-what-costs-are-involved-in-becoming-a-monk/ There is a Buddhism Forum on AseanNow. Surprised OP has not read all the threads there outlining costs etc... Such as this thread.. https://aseannow.com/topic/1263039-a-monks-life-for-30-days/
  15. Google "Skyscanner" for throw away ticket. Better option is "onwardticket.com" That is rent a flight and you buy the ticket day before your flight to Thailand. approx 12usd.
  16. Very naive post. You are not going to "can I become a monk..." Given that you plan to devote one month to this project. You can do want you like on your "spouse visa" You could have asked can you study Thai language on your current permission of stay. Of course you can. There are several threads regarding Non RE to study religion.
  17. Perfect. If you need to exit Thailand prior expiry date make sure that you purchase another reentry permit
  18. Simple question. Look at picture in my previous post. Do you have that pic in your PP. Only difference being the word Multiple.
  19. Will be fine due to length of your stay only being a week each time.. Clearly not living in Thailand
  20. Normally an agent would only obtain a reentry permit if you requested one. Yes it's a separate stamp. Takes half a page. Hard to miss Here is pic of my Multiple reentry permit. Obviously a single has "Single Entry"
  21. You have zero issues returning presenting both pp. You should consult your agent regarding transfer of reentry permit (if it's a multi) and visa information to new pp. Also how are you doing your 90 day reporting. If via agent then again another reason to infor agent that you have renewed your pp
  22. Ignore it. A 2k USD Rado watch on your wrist is 2 times that amount.
