  1. Correct. Already covered in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1295110-best-way-to-send-money-out-of-thailand/
  2. The airline at departure may request an onward flight if planning to enter Thailand visa exempt. Rarely would it be asked by Thai immigration on arrival. The onward flight should be within 30 days. You received suggestions from entirely using visa exempt entries to combination of visa exempt + tourist visas. Important consideration is where you would be based.
  3. Good time to close a thread that has lot of misinformation.
  4. Money only and no property. If not wanting to leave funds to anyone in UK best option is to transfer funds to Thailand. Surely not referring to serious money as it's in a bank.
  5. Agree. Also she mentioned only 20 day Samui then no firm plans other that more stays on islands. Very frustrating OP. Normally I would not care less however her situation it not as unusual as one would think. Very unhelpful op.
  6. This is such a nonsense thread. First up you can remit money back to "home country" 400k is not serious money. Not too long ago I had a hip replacement in Bangkok. By Coincidence 400k. BTW: The op was not about wife "taking care of things" He wanted to send 400k baht back to UK.
  7. Stop. If you obtained a non O single entry visa from Oz you would be stamped in 90 days. It's not an "old visa" You didn't even reply to which airport you exit from. For example BKK different process to DMK. Hells Bells
  8. You can return whenever you want. Depending on how long you wish to visit determines your best option. You have zero issues.
  9. My error. Meant 3. https://aseannow.com/topic/1313482-vientiane-thai-visa-proccess-time/
  10. Yes. For both offices (my understanding) is apply am and pick up next business day pm. Someone will correct if that's not correct
  11. Yeah for sure . I'm sure Thailand is rampant with Thai wives supporting fully their farang partners, including the funds in bank requirements for extensions 400k as a once off the OP wishes to return to UK is a red herring.
  12. BTW: Vientiane requires an appointment. Currently don't think they offer multi. Believe @transam dealt with Savannahket. He can advise.
  13. 3 weeks ago I transferred 80kaud+ from Oz using WISE. I ticked "long term living expenses " Arrived in my Thai account in less that 2 hours.
  14. Things have changed. For the multi seasoning is required (previously not the case) Few reports where guys have attended for multi and without seasoning have been give single entry non O (90 day)
  15. I mentioned Deemoney earlier. Bit off topic however.... I not long ago purchased a condo from UK guy. There was a misunderstanding and I paid him in cash. I sent him to Deemoney as he was returning UK in few days. Subsequently he needed all the land office transfers and blue book etc.
  16. Current thread on this. Keep eye on replies. https://aseannow.com/topic/1325538-non-immigrant-o-visa-based-on-marriage-savannakhet-vientiane-or-which-is-easiest/
  17. https://aseannow.com/topic/1218096-400k-baht-marriage-visa-requirement-do-the-funds-need-to-come-from-overseas/
  18. Do you know how many folk post regarding entry to Thailand via air using visa exempt. It's like a recycle bin. Fills every day. There has NEVER been ONE account remotely similar to your account. Done with chit chat. Post factual accounts.
  19. Why did you need to do that. If you entered Thailand with a non O marriage from UK ... The 400k does not need to come from overseas for extension
  20. How did you try and transfer funds back to UK? Also VERY few would be in your situation regarding wife having Financials covered both for living and obtaining extensions. Point of your thread?
  21. You will require 400k in your Thai bank account in your name for subsequent extensions. Cleary wife can cover that ongoing. As for the funds already sent its not big money sort it with wife and plan for ongoing extensions.
  22. What will he and wife live on while living in Thailand.
