My Bad. Yes I live in apartment. I don't like to trouble them however have adopted this M.O in recent years. What you outline re condos is correct. My Thai partner owns condos and yes currently has one farang school teacher and does a TM30 for him when asked. He requests it when exits Thailand and returns and when does new contract with school. It's a pain

Retirement extension via agent, change of bank.
DrJack54 replied to jimn's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I just contacted another agent in Pattaya. Me: Any issues currently for 12 month extension. Agent: No problem. You must have BBL a/c. As stated earlier if anyone has concerns contact agent rather than guessing games. -
How many tourist visa allowed?
DrJack54 replied to Jack1988's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Currently visa exempt is 60 days that can be extended by 30. One plan for 6 month stay is ... Enter Thailand via air with e-Visa (tourist) do one extension. Next border bounce with minivan agent to eg Cambodia. Then obtain an extension. 60+30+60+30 = 6 months. Not rocket science. -
Retirement extension via agent, change of bank.

This issue was discussed in this thread earlier this year. https://aseannow.com/topic/1351851-visa-services-limited-now/ This thread has one report of an issue with one agent. Previously it was Tik Tok and Mots. As I stated early on. Take chill pill and look for follow up reports. Anyone concerned best advice is to contact agent. -
How many tourist visa allowed?
DrJack54 replied to Jack1988's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Prior to e-Visa when the visas were obtained in person at the various consulates/embassies some places would issue only certain number. eg No more that 2 from that particular consulate. Apart from that, entry to Thailand via air always has the risk of refusal if pp shows basically continuous stay in Thailand. People can be refused entry with a tourist visa. Unmarried (to Thai) and under 50yr old now have visa options such as DTV. Why keep starting threads that you are aware of the answer/options. -
Understand completely. You will have zero issues and peace of mind. Have a good stay in Thailand. Please post report.

DrJack54 replied to NickyLouie's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Finally a sensible post. That's exactly what folk should do. -
I thought you decided against "safe entry service" In any event yes please update with report. Would be helpful. Guessing cost approx 4500b There are two different meet and greet. Some have agent airside. Some have io meet and greet by io prior to immigration lines

From the OP..... "I did not have any stamp of my denny entry ... "

He has couple of options. 1. Buy a throw away ticket to cheapest destination. 2. Buy a rent a ticket from company eg "onwardticket.com" ...$16usd. Explained fully in this blog: https://backpackbob.com/thailand-return-ticket/ Obviously your friend wants to obtain the Non O inside Thailand and that's fine. Just for others Note: insurance in not required for Non O obtained in or out of Thailand.. Also bank balance is required for both application inside and outside of Thailand. The e-Visa process is simple for Non O retirement.

Definitely: I can't imagine doing it in person at VSF if that required significant travel. You didn't need to provide the agent with the passport pics? I like (sympathize) with posts from @OJAS UK folk have a rough deal regarding passports imo.

Your whole post is just a bash. Folk were caught out by the sudden change in border bounce "rules" The OP experience along with others are outlined in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1347328-nong-khai-border-bounce-avoid/ Previously Nong Khai had zero issues for same day border bounce. People were blindsided, simple as that. @thai006, disregard this posters bash I quoted. Back to you trip to Thailand next week relax you will be fine. Have the onward flight as a print out + funds etc If you do a border bounce this trip then use a border run agent.
