  1. You are referring to 90 day reporting. 14 days prior for online and via mail. 14 days prior and up to 6 days after due date for in person TM47. Not related to extensions
  2. Did you ask about a 12 month extension or to actually obtain a non O visa from visa exempt or tourist visa entry.
  3. The guy you quoted was confused. Also seems he was obtaining a non O visa and not a 12 month extension. At CM it's up to 45 days early for annual extension
  4. At large immigration offices such as CW, CM etc you can apply up to 45 days prior to expiry. At majority of offices it's up to 30 days prior
  5. You could inquire with one of the Bangkok agents such as ThaiVisaCentre. I doubt if an agent will obtain a COR at CW. Keep in mind that you must have your most recent TM47 receipt.
  6. https://aseannow.com/topic/1328126-residence-certificate-requirements/ https://aseannow.com/topic/1286381-certificate-of-residence-at-cw/ In this last thread ubonjoe posts a link to form that CW uses. https://aseannow.com/topic/1268314-can-i-get-a-certificate-of-residency-at-cw/ Note: appointments for COR not available at CW. However if your TM47 report window is open you can book appointment for that and the same desk will process your COR application. 200b. The io will even photocopy the TM47 receipt.
  7. Never was a requirement for extensions. Unrelated to extensions there were few reports re visa exempt entry at a land border asking about onward travel..
  8. Reply from ubonjoe and others here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1169847-change-non-ed-to-non-b-work-permit/
  9. OP, here is a random thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1319982-retirement-extension-jomtien-trip-report/ Don't bother with it apart from OP report. Here is a snip from it. "Then I will also see if I get the form to return in three months to show the 800K still in the bank. For me it varies; Some years I do get it and some years I don't. I never bother to go back anyway, I think it is meant more as a reminder to us than to them" Have read MANY reports of folk ignoring the "return with bank book" in 3 months. I have NEVER read a report where failure to do so resulted in issue with next extension.
  10. The type of visa eg non O vs non O-A sets the requirements for extension of your permission of stay. As you pointed out requirement of insurance. The post you quoted is fully correct. When he exits Thailand on his stated dates the non O is history.
  11. The topic has come up many times and many first hand reports of no record being made or no slip handed out to report back etc.. and no issues of not returning. Just Jomitien rubbish.
  12. The OP has a tourist visa. He will apply for extension at CW. If he had a visa exempt entry he would apply at LakSi The two forms you listed have been around for quite some time. Required for all extensions. Terms and conditions+ acknowledgement of overstay penalties
  13. While not related to COR..... Recently obtained new passport and made trip to CW to transfer stamps etc. Out of the blue, Wham they want my bank book and photocopies all pages from date of current extension. I use money in bank method retirement.. So if anyone going to CW to transfer stamps be forewarned That is free extra from immigration!
  14. You will receive final stamp for sure. Best to maintain the 400k in bank till you receive final stamp.

  16. Which immigration office? If you are referring to Jomitien and return to immigration after 3 months to show bank book that is not required.
  17. Don't direct your advice/rant to me.. I pushed the OP post as he did not receive reply. Hopefully your info provides good advice for OP. Simple summary to advise OP would suffice
  18. Your previous posts relate to non O retirement and also other visas options. So you currently have a PE visa? When did you obtain the PE visa? Why not ask that company for support advice.
