  1. You are so wrong it's embarrassing. It's is all to do with ongoing permission of stay. Use me as an example... Non O 12 years ago. Extensions renewed Nov 8. Continuous permission of stay from 12 years ago. Never changed address. Suggest you read more threads to be informed. So in my situation there is zero need to file new TM30 for travel to another province or international travel returning with reentry permit that protects my permission of stay.
  2. Stop. That is not a Thai immigration website. Does contain some basic useful information however in the main your posts in this thread are incorrect
  3. I still cannot follow your posts. I doubt your non O and extension stamp will be issued at Jomitien So you have agent arranged visa and imply that in 12 months you will have the 800k. You will not be able to obtain 12 month extension without agent. You would need to exit Thailand and start over. BTW: TM28 is history. For change of address you use TM30.
  4. You are not clear..... So if you come to Thailand soonish and use agent then the agent will provide (cover) the 800k requirement? If yes then perhaps will not be issued Jomitien but rather up country.. If using an agent they will advise on 90 reports etc
  5. Does this mean you will not be providing the financial requirements? Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only.
  6. Exactly ...just be aware that snapping someone "Wrong" just because Jomitien requires TM30 depending on direction of wind is poor.
  7. Jomitien is a rogue office. Using Jomitien as a example is useless.
  8. Please end the bickering. Further similar posts will be removed.
  9. It's not overlooked....it's misunderstood as you are not understanding the meaning in your post.
  10. When you apply and are given an under consideration period stamp. That has a date on it and you return for your final stamp on that date. You do not go onto overstay. Never heard of someone given under consideration and then rejection. Regarding your reentry permit. That's zone 2 left side of immigration ques. So after security check and prior to passport control BKK offers a 200b service to do the form (TM8) and photo. Optional. The reentry permit stamp you receive when exit is only valid to date of current extension expiry July 3. When you obtain your new extension you require a new reentry permit for future travels.
  11. Think you will be ok. The TM30 can be your change of address. If you have screenshot of the TM30 that would be useful and yes wife TB and ID card etc you mention in OP.. CW requires a TM47 to apply for a COR however they are only immigration office that has that requirement
  12. One report in this thread of 3 week turn around and in another thread recent turn around 20 days.
  13. Have wife do a TM30. Have you previously done a TM47 (90 day report) https://aseannow.com/topic/1283077-certificate-of-residence-jomtien-immigration/
  14. That information is in the main directed towards tourists. That enter Thailand on tourist visa or visa exempt etc entries. Also poorly written. You do not seem to understand the difference in TM30 requirements for those with ongoing extensions and reentry permits along with multi entry visas such as non O-A, ME non O etc. This thread is off track.
  15. Which country passport. In addition to the updated bankbook they wanted photocopies of all months since previous extension granted and photocopy of name- account number page. This was CW
  16. Regarding the new pp transfer of stamps and visa info along with extension it's two separate steps. If you do it on same visit they will do the transfer first and then process the extension. Regarding the 90 report...if your report window is open ask if you can do that also in person same visit. Prior to attending immigration for transfer and extension visit your bank and update passport details.. Here is form for transfer of stamps. #25 on list of downloadable forms. https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?page_id=3202
  17. Heads up for anyone that has renewed pp..... For transfer of stamps/visa info at CW they are also requiring your bank books if using funds in the bank method (retirement)
  18. No doubt you have looked into the various things required for marriage. One is "affidavit of right to marry" from your embassy. Here is link to some requirements from a random legal firm. There is also a sub forum (marriage and divorce) that has many threads. https://www.thaiembassy.com/family/marriage-in-thailand
  19. OP, you have time after you return to apply for your extension. Don't forget to obtain reentry permit. https://aseannow.com/topic/1313280-can-i-apply-for-my-extension-of-stay-based-on-marriage-as-late-as-only-12-days-before-it-expires/
  20. Be aware that for large transfers eg funds from sale of real estate etc they may require additional proof such as Land office receipts etc.
  21. No. WISE will not send funds from Thailand to USA. Google DEE MONEY. Have office opposite soi 21 (Sukhumvit mrt); Good option
  22. Yes. And done by many USA expats. Granted even when selecting last option for transfer "funds for long term stay" the code for foreign transfer sometimes does not show code FTT. Point is this can be solved with credit advice from your Thai bank. That's an option. As for the issue of passing (death) and wife not have immediate access to those funds then suggestion from @Sherylwould work fine. Perhaps off topic... currently I'm doing monthly transfers of 120k + and as soon as it hits my Thai account the funds transfered to my partner (not married) If hit by bus then the 800k (retirement extension) using funds in bank method is not lost in red tape.
  23. Yes. Slight variation would be to transfer the 400k into wife bank account as soon as he receives his final stamp after the under consideration period. Then live off that money prior to next extension. He could use WISE transfers every month (best option) and the day the 40k+ hits his account transfer to wife account. He mentioned CM would not accept proof of foreign transfers using WISE. Thats just a lost in translation thing. He can obtain 12 months of credit advice from Thai bank to show transfers from abroad. His "visa advisor" is wrong. Think he mentioned WISE expensive. That's not correct and very popular with USA folk. Many threads on this in finance banking forum.
  24. At CW same visit. You most likely require TM30 and photocopies of basic pages of pp. TM7 with photo and 1900b Can apply couple of weeks prior to expiry of current permission of stay.
