  1. OP, you should outline exactly what you plan to do apart from renew one of your passports. You stated in part...... "....to legally stay in Thailand " What's the plan here
  2. The point is that ongoing ,especially back to back visa exempt entry via air will end up in denied entry from immigration upon landing.
  3. That's not correct. Make up your mind what onward flight you provided. Rent a ticket or real throw away ticket. In any event she was admitted. Absolutely not surprised she was questioned. Good luck with next visa exempt entry.
  4. Most naive post of the week/month. You make one valid point. There is no stated limit on visa exempt entries. However many folk rejected entry if this is used as ongoing living in Thailand.
  5. Find it whatever you wish.... You are wrong This comment earlier is correct.. "Thai Embassy system and Thailand internal entry are totally separate systems."
  6. You are confused. A throw away flight refers to a real ticket booked and paid for. Simply not used. A rent a ticket from companies such as "onwardticket.com " also work . Zero issues. Please post facts
  7. Read some earlier posts from @Liquorice He is correct. You are not. However I have mentioned in 2 posts suggest OP bring it to IO attention.
  8. I mentioned this in 3rd post. Previous reports of this being successful. The OP would have an onward flight to Phillipines and ticket to Thailand. Thinking io would accommodate this request. One thing not mentioned is that an eVisa from UK would not have flight into Thailand from Phillipines
  9. OP, rare account has been posted. Many replies have gone off track Thread closed
  10. If you marry then she can piggyback on your extensions based on retirement as your dependent. However I never recommend marry for reason to stay in Thailand.
  11. Appears current stamp is visa exempt 30 day stamp. She can apply for 30 day extension. Regards your second question the 2 visa exempt entries limit per calendar year is via land border entries. No limit visa exempt entries via air however immigration will suspect working in Thailand for many entries. What status (visa/extension) do you have in Thailand.
  12. Tell her. Not me. At 50 without income letter you have option for funds in bank method. I was eligible for income stream at 55. However did not require that.
  13. The only answer that assists the OP, is to check with your immigration office. He didn't indicate that in the OP. Being Oz then same as OP (UK) not able to obtain income letter from embassy. I checked with io at CW and she wanted "show pension" Here is post from me in thread from March. "I have read reports that basically state that their immigration office just wanted to see bank statements that the 65k came per month on a consistent date. That's it. Also read many where immigration office insisted on back up info . I can understand that immigration can claim rental income is not a guarantee source of income. In my case just by example (not a brag) . I have several rental properties and super fund (shares) in Oz...I wanted to change to income method. So I changed my super fund set up to monthly income. Referred to "income stream" Didn't need it but was done to be able to show immigration. In ironic twist have decided to use agent ongoing for extensions
  14. Well in actual fact many do. That can be from a variety of sources. Example rental properties, shares etc etc. As I stated earlier some immigration offices are satisfied with monthly transfers of 65k+ (Best idea to transfer on consistent date) Some may want proof of source of income. Pension etc.
  15. Each 60 day stamp can obtain 30 day extension. Also if exit and reentry just prior to visa expiry it's possible to obtain almost 9 months.
  16. Think you will find it depends on the immigration office. Some may accept the 65k+ per month from overseas. Some will require some proof that it comes from some type of pension/income stream.

  18. A few day overstay is dealt with and then application for extension. Personally I would not do a border run. Which immigration office He needs a TM30
  19. He can obtain a 30 day extension to his 30 visa exempt entry or a 60 day extension to visit wife. How long would he like to stay in Thailand. If another 90 days he should obtain the 30 day extension first.
  20. My last reply as not interested in your excuse for lack of contribution to own thread.. At a guess you are working online. That works provided not related to Thailand. And NO ongoing setv will not work. Under 50 you could consider PE visa option. At a guess too expensive for digital nomad. BOI perhaps an option
  21. Agree and OP has been given options for situation. Thread closed.
  22. Fly to udon Thani. Stay somewhere like top mansion . Bar area. Mondat Walk (round corner) to central plaza and mini van to friendship bridge.
