Stupid comment. So what do you recommend to people that have no car? Or want to reach a destination that has no Airport or Railway station?
I've used bus services of Transport Company (999 or Bor Sor Kor) and some of the better private companies and never had any issues.
By the way I rather hit a horse (or have any kind of accident) with a bus than a car.Right on

Be nice to see a climb down from the government and what the EU think of it

Hope they’ve got some of those cameras outside the school at the bottom of south Pattaya road

I thought the EU had their own ministers so a Herman minister should just suck it up as it’s an EU decision which overrides any single country I would have thought

I do understand where you are coming from darksidedog but, first, give someone some credit for editing out the man hitting the ground and being run over and, second, these horrendous examples of Thais inability to drive responsibly need to be dramatically publicised if the roads are to become a safer place. The guy seems to have done the right thing up on highway. The Honda and the pickup drivers have some explaining to do.
In Thailand the indicator light is used to inform the road users of the last move the driver made.
There should be a requirement that indicators switch off automatically after a given number of seconds or distance travelled. Can't be difficult. After all, car alarms switch off after a period of time.
Car lights manage to switch off

She was obviously looking for agro if she was told to calm down, unless he was waiting up there with the sledgehammer

Illogical: That's what is done well here in Thailand.
Even having a law doesn't mean it will be enforced - I'm sure we all know that.
And enforcing a non law it seems

Better late than never.
Every country that attracts people from other countries will have this problem.
Thailand was that bad this expat overstayed for 19 years?
I would love to see the UK doing the same, never happen tho, they haven’t got the balls. Thailand has much more of a grip on who is in their country than the UK does

I take it that their is nobody in charge of tourists safety at the moment then !!!
strange for a country with such a large ( and growing ) tourist industry.

Could always blame google maps for not getting to the exact location. 555. ROFL

Buying a visa does not reduce the risk so why buy if you didn’t have to

Even plastic has a weight. So tourists filling their suitcases with it and bringing it to Thailand so they can throw it away doesn’t seem feasible to me, so that means someone in Thailand is giving them the plastic. In a country that is renowned for rice, I can’t believe someone hasn’t come up with some kind of rice-paper packaging

For those who are saying they cant see that anything has been taken - maybe a visit to Top Charoen Optical is overdue.....
The image on the right clearly shows the camera on the chair beside the heffalump 'lady'. The image on the left shows that it has disappeared. As I don't see Paul Daniels anywhere close to hand, and the woman can be seen with her hand in her bag in the second image - you don't have to be Jacques Clouseau to work out that she has picked up said camera and put it in her bag...
So she put the camera in her bag then took it out then put it back in. @@@ the start of the cctv there is nothing on the chair next to her. And they read left to right here not same Arab. You can do better Columbo I have faith
