Senator Kittisak Rattanawaraha said the next prime minister will not come from the Pheu Thai Party. Thai Enquirer Pheu Thai list-MP and caretaking party spokesperson, Rinthipond Varinvatchararoj, said the current view of Pheu Thai PM Candidate, Srettha Thavisin, is that the amendment of the lese-majeste law is currently an obstacle to the formation of the government. The student-led pro-democracy protest group, United Front of Thammasat and Demonstration (UFTD), has announced a car mob to demonstrate support for the 8-party coalition. The event will take place at noon on August 2 at Asoke Intersection. Their objective is to encourage the coalition to remain united for the upcoming prime minister's voting on August 4.
