  1. I don't live in a condo, but if I did I wouldn't be happy with ICE cars parked near my EV knowing the ICE car is between 10 and 140 times more lilkly to catch fire than my EV.
  2. Would that be the same problem that there is insufficient manufacturing infrastructure in the 5-10 year range to make all the forecasted EV's ? Please quote a source.
  3. We have a Cat Bar in Chiang Rai too.
  4. Would that be the fire started by a diesel range rover? It is thought the fire started with a diesel-powered vehicle "and then that fire has quickly and rapidly spread", said Andrew Hopkinson, Bedfordshire's chief fire officer. What caused the Luton Airport fire and what happens next? - BBC News
  5. Thailand is a signatory to the Geneva and Vienna convention on road traffic and as such a Thai license is all you need in Belgium, the EU and around 90 or so countries.
  6. You are aware ICE vehicles are between 10 and 140 times more likely to catch fire than EV’s?
  7. EV owners are the future You're a fossil using fossil fuel
  8. You can charge at thousands of other places, but you are absolutely right to pressure the management committee. EV charging is not going to go away and they are going to get increasing pressure from other EV owners. I expect the government to legislate at some point. As someone else pointed out, put forward a solution that makes money for the condo or offer to pay to install your own with RFID card access and charge others to use it. Incidentally, Hydrogen is not the answer, you can fuel 5 battery EV’s for the energy you put in one Hydrogen car. Who wants to pay 5 times more per kilometer? Not me!
  9. There is a standard precept worldwide, you should not profit from crime. It begs the question, why are they paying anything for burnt sugarcane.
  10. Mine too I just had a puncture repaired at B Quik, free as usual.
  11. A 5 year Thai licence is valid in ANY EU country, and any ex EU country (the UK).
  12. Yep, I would say we are definitely petrol heads, auto enthusiasts if you prefer. The performance of EV's is addictive, so is the lack of noise & vibration.
  13. Did you need to say that?
  14. I am almost certain they will refuse to give me price protection, but the Cyberster is their halo car and I think I may still be the only order in Chiang Rai so it will likely be escalated to the top. When they refuse, I will cancel and get my deposit back. I am in two minds anyway, firstly, I took delivery of a new Seal 2 months ago and secondly, I don't like the battery technology in the Cyberster. Unless the price is compelling, it's not a sensible decision for me and I will use the opportunity to grandstand.
  15. My wife says I have a 9" penis, but she doesn't know which way to hold a ruler.
  16. Great value now.
  17. When I get asked to spec up my MG Cyberster order, I am going to ask for 12 months price protection, or I won't take it. MG fooled me once with the MG4, they will not fool me twice. And now BYD have done the same. That goes for any EV I buy now, I want a guarantee I will get a retrospective discount if the cars are discounted within 12 months. Price protection like this is extremely common in the IT industry.
  18. Cue: Price Protection
  19. It’s very common with rented properties where utilities are included.
  20. I didn't read the OP properly, It wasn't what I meant but it's still a good idea because you will spot any major difference with the PEA reading. I did this here at my house.
  21. The first thing you should do is fit meters on each house, it's not expensive and it will alert you if they start bitcoin mining or something like that, also you can then re-debit them for electricity usage. Check to see if the meter really is still turning if everything off, it could be a leaking underground cable.
  22. That's exactly it, I thought you might say that 😉
  23. I have both Mitsubishi and TCL both inverter models. Both Mitsubishi & TCL are silent inside and outside and 12,000 BTU is about 9,000 baht plus installation for TCL on Lazada.
