    Not sure what area of the South you are but there is a massive amount of water heading towards Bangkok from the North/North East. Here in Loei we have had the biggest flood since 2011

    Not included is the vast amount of water heading Bangkoks way, I would estimate that in Loei it was only 30 cm short of the record flood 20 years ago

    For me I would stick to beach/swimming pool, Thai people do frown on it, it shows disrespect. I was in a restaurant in Pattaya recently, four guys were refused entry until they put there shirts on

    This reminds me of the very first time I visited Thailand on the bus taking us from airport to the hotel, the tour leader said that if Thai people have a dream the night before indicating they are going to die the next day they believe this and will on that day drive without care.

    Chiang Khan is probably one of Thai peoples go to places in the whole of Issaan and the drive along the Mekong to Nong Kai is beautiful

    Whenever there was a works out and I drove the van, after everybody was dropped off, I walked through the van, making sure everything was ok, only took a minute. I did it automatically

    Probably some (same in the West) mostly no, I live in a Thai town, hardly any foreign tourists, covid had little effect, if you say good morning (in Thai) and smile they will respond with a smile
