  1. Oh the seething grievance of it all. So let’s just examine your thesis in context of the OP. These teenagers who have been radicalized are by definition under twenty years old, and can’t reasonably be considered to have any understanding of the wider world before they were perhaps ten years old. So by your argument this disaffection with Government and your usual bogeyman ’the left’ must have occurred in the last nine or ten years, less than 4 months of which is under the current Government. It seems the blame can be found in the period 2014 -2024. Once again you misrepresent the truth regarding people being imprisoned for posting content online that breaches the law. You have had misrepresentation of the truth on this matter explained to you many times, with links to actual court rulings, actual laws broken and the full text of those laws.
  2. Are you sure you posted in the right thread?
  3. So you’re all in with Russia and Iran
  4. It matters that he lies. And it matters that he often has no idea where he is. His latest trashing of Detroit while in Detroit speaking to the people of Detroit being just one example.
  5. Good to see an American supporter of America’s enemies getting the justice he deserves. More please.
  6. We should perhaps have a thread on that.
  7. I don’t find anything funny about Hamas.
  8. I did, but I read the OP first. Hamas don’t get a mention until your hair trigger goes off.
  9. A registered Republican even: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2024/10/13/what-we-know-vem-miller-trump/75663970007/
  10. Oh, it was the ‘U.S. Left’ storming the Capitol on J6. Who knew?!
  11. Taylor Swift helps people in need and triggers the usual suspects to. It’s known as a win win.
  12. There is no prohibition stating how much American expats are ‘allowed’ to earn. Your poor expat earning $150,000 already has a $120,000 tax free allowance, so might have to pay tax on 1/5th of their income, assuming they do not take advantage of numerous other avail tax reductions, such as health savings plans etc.
  13. That’s a rather twisted interpretation of my comments. My argument is precisely that this suggested tax giveaway is targeted in favor of the hyper wealthy. The vast majority of Americans expats already have a generous zero tax bracket. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/foreign-earned-income-exclusion#:~:text=However%2C you may qualify to,deduct certain foreign housing amounts.
  14. No, I mean he might be doing it to help out the already hyper wealthy.
  15. It’s always somebody else’s fault and of course, hope springs eternal. As I have said many times, Trump would have been better focusing on Prison reform.
  16. It’s a very odd election promise to be making in the last month of the campaign. It doesn’t bring in any votes from the expat voters who have already submitted their vote and it’s too late, in many states, to encourage expat citizens who have not already applied for their absentee ballot. What’s even odder is, postal voting has been the subject of long standing attacks from Trump and not a means of voting favored by his citizen supporters. Moreover, expat U.S. Citizens already enjoy a generous fixed amount tax allowance and there is lies a clue to why Trump might think this a good idea. A zero tax rate for expatriate Americans would be a huge gift to those hyper wealthy Americans living overseas.
  17. Increasing the debt to invest in infrastructure (Capital expenditure) makes sound economic sense. Increasing the debt to cut taxes does not.
  18. Perhaps you should admit your error and acknowledge there was not peace in the region under Trump. Just admit you were wrong, it won’t hurt.
  19. Again, forgive me for pointing out your blatantly false statement.
