  1. Yet more ‘Starmer’ whataboutary. Unfortunately for the whataboutary merchants, Durham police found no breach of the rules: https://www.durham.police.uk/News/News-Articles/2022/July/Durham-Constabulary-press-statement.aspx
  2. ‘Slavishly following the rules’ Like being denied visits to dying loved ones, or being denied attending funerals of family members.
  3. It will be interesting to see who amongst the Tories votes which way and how many abstain or simply don’t turn up. The Party of Law and Order.
  4. The video is problematic digit a number of reasons. Firstly the party is clearly in breach of the law, and yes I know the sulkers amongst us don’t like the law, but we none of us get to choose which laws are applicable to us, but not applicable to others. The evidence of members and staff of the governing political party doing that is of obvious public concern. Secondly the people at the party can be heard discussing the fact they know they are breaking the lockdown, no ignorance here, they are acting in flagrant disregard, obviously something of public concern. But it goes on. This Party is not at Downing Street, it’s at Conservative Party HQ, clearly a disregard for the laws and rules applied to the public are are not considered to apply to the Governing Tory Party, this is of obvious public concern, especially to those that vote. Two people caught in this party video are among the already widely criticized ’Johnson Honors List’. Honors being handed out to people personally caught in flagrant breach of the lockdown is is of obvious public concern. The video was reviewed by Metropolitan Police who took no action, this needs explanation beyond the already confirmed evidence of corruption in the Met., this is of obvious public concern. The message is clear, the Governing Party are making rules for everyone else that they themselves do not follow. Roll on the Bye-Elections so we can get a taste of what the General Election has in store.
  5. But….but…but whatabout this totally unrelated and proven legal behavior by others?! The difference and the reason why none of that was breaking any rules or laws has been explained to you in a number of occasions.
  6. Nonsense, the UK had a veto and was a significant contributor to EU regulations laws and standards.
  7. So let’s forget him turning up drunk and with zero preparation.
  8. The UK did not need the EU’s permission to leave. More Brexit nonsense, is there any end to it?
  9. ‘Trials’ and you are speaking the in his defense in topics discussing all of them.
  10. The Jack Smith is an idiot hope lives on. Cannon made her first ruling, indicating she has no intention to recuse herself. I look forward to the DOJ response.
  11. The UK rejoining the EU is not the issue that the next General Election will be fought on. So why on earth would political leaders make statements wrt to rejoining?
  12. Agreed, Cannon is not bound. She’ll also not bound to be the presiding judge when this goes to trial. She is very clearly in breach of Statutes on impartiality.
  13. I don’t believe for a moment Jack Smith has finished bringing indictments. He and the DOJ have stated, investigations are continuing.
  14. I wonder if convictions have ever been secured where the accused has destroyed or concealed evidence? I wonder if sworn testimony by the accused’s own lawyers of his efforts to destroy and conceal evidence would be a factor tge court will consider? I wonder if making false statements and conspiring with others to submit signed false statements about classified documents will be considered by the court?
  15. If Trump copied classified documents and those copies were retrieved by the FBI then that there is evidence of more Trump crimes. More indictments are to follow. Jack be nimble, Jack be quick.
  16. Once again, do you suppose the Government had records of what documents were given to Trump and what documents were not returned?
  17. He also said he could have declassified it as President but didn’t and can’t now. An admission out of his own mouth that he understands classification is a process now out of his control. If he understands he can’t show people classified documents then why was he keeping them scattered around Mar A Largo? More indictments coming. Jack be nimble, Jack be quick.
  18. Note to Jack Smith. Add disposing of classified documents to the charges. I’m sure most people don’t know if a classified map is indeed a classified map. But it’s not their understanding of what information they were shown that is the crime. Trump was showing people classified information Clutch at straws.
  19. He was informed he had classified and top secret documents. He later claimed they were planted. He then made statements, on record, that reveal he knew he was in possession of classified documents. He made efforts to conceal the documents. He conspired with his lawyers to return some documents in a bid to keep others, and they gave testimony on the matter. He conspired with his lawyers to submit false statements regarding the classified documents, and they gave testimony on the matter.
  20. Let’s none of us forget the concerns over Trump mishandling and/or leaking national security and intelligence information are nothing new: https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2017/02/16/trump-reportedly-kept-in-dark-about-intelligence-due-to-leak-concerns.html
  21. Do you suppose the Government might have a record of what documents Trump received and which documents he did not return?
  22. Jack be nimble, Jack be quick.
  23. It’s the Republican accusation confession thing.
  24. Alternatively they could come up with a legislative program to help ordinary Americans rather than helping the crook who is going to take them down with him. Nah, they won’t do that. Strap yourself to Trump, just do it.
