At no time after the Battle of Britain were the Luftwaffe in any position to provide the necessary air cover for an invasion of the UK. The extent of American involvement in the Battle of Britain was limited to the very welcome and much appreciated contribution of American volunteers within RAF ‘Eagle Squadrons’.

Why do US boots need to be on the ground in Iran for American troops to be killed in a war with Iran? The war with Iran is asymmetric, undetectable B2 bombers at altitude, soft targets at ground level all over the globe. It didn’t have to be this way.

I don’t see this as an impeachable act, but we can live in hope.
