You are conflating the right to enter with the right to choose to enter and the right to choose to leave. Choice is one of those things that are inseparable from freedom. A free press has the right to enter and the right to leave.

Refer the OP. Israel purports to be a democracy that upholds the principles of democracy, of which freedom of the press is one principle. I hate to see Israel being accused of suppressing freedom of the press. I think Israel could completely destroy such allegations by permitting the world’s news outlets to send journalists into Gaza and r er port on what they witness, independent of Israel or Hamas. I’m at a loss why this offends you so.
