  1. They’ve gone after tax avoidance by millionaires buying farm land and means tested winter fuels payments. They have gone after the disabled.
  2. This isn’t about the CofE failure to address perverts in its ranks.
  3. Corbyn is right, the Government need address the budget shortfall by taxing wealth and removing tax loopholes that benefit the rich. Failure to do so will only result in increasing the already rampant inequality and increasing poverty.
  4. So working class white kids aren’t benefiting from the increase in spending on state schools. Or perhaps they won’t benefit from their parents receiving the increase in the minimum wage or any provisions within the Employment Rights Bill. All policies that will improve the lives and opportunities of working class kids, unless of course, as you would have us believe, they happen to be white. Methinks you are once again letting your need for self stoked grievance get the better of you.
  5. There you go project your lack of thought on a master on to me. I would agree the Saudis aren’t stupid and I very much doubt they need the growth in what for them is a small investment. They do however have a history of suppressing free speech.
  6. Is this those ‘Devastating Consequences’ I wonder?!
  7. Disney employing a diversity of staff that mirrors the diversity of the general population.
  8. Do you think the Saudi Arabian co-investors who provided much of the money to help Musk buy Twitter are also interested in ‘Free Speech’?
  9. Oh look, another newly minted forum member posting offensive memes in the supposedly fact based news sub forum. On this occasion making use of the graves of dead servicemen.
  10. Oh another federal cash handout to the nation’s biggest ‘welfare junkie’.
  11. Paying vastly over the market value is not normal.
  12. Musk sells a business he controls at a price above its market value to another business he controls. He’s robbing the gas meter.
  13. The kitsch art of the false equivalence shows up again. The right to vote is held under the Constitution. There is no right to drive a car under the Constitution. Not by any stretch of a rational (you used the word) imagination are they the same thing.
  14. “It's already a creeping process since the last 20 years, culminating in 2015, and very imminent, when refugees and asylum seekers swept uncontrolled over Europe.” There was nothing ‘uncontrolled’ about it: https://www.hoover.org/research/weaponization-migration-powerful-instrument-russias-hybrid-toolbox https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-35706238.amp
  15. I have no problem with my own company, especially given the options in offer around here. How’s your ‘pow wow dance’ coming on?!
  16. Please identify it the defense of Islam you claim in my post which directly addresses the comment I replied to.
  17. I don’t see many Americans following the practices and beliefs of the Native American tribes.
  18. Not only have the Labour Government increased the deportation of foreigner offenders by 21% over last years numbers, they’re also massively outperforming the previous Government’s failed Rwanda Scheme which flushed away £700 million of tax payers money for 4 deportations. A shocking £175,000,000 per person deported). More can be done, but the improvements so far in deportations and savings to the public purse are all in the right direction. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/07/22/world/europe/uk-rwanda-deportation-plan.html
  19. “There is increasing speculation that the UK might drop its digital services tax as part of negotiations. This levy, which imposes a 2 percent tax on revenues from search engines, social media platforms, and online marketplaces that benefit from British users, has been a longstanding point of contention with the US.” Washington dictating UK taxation policies. Reaction from the defenders of British sovereignty… crickets.
  20. And yet the OP also tells us the Labour Government have deported 1610 other Albanian offenders. While 2925 foreign offenders have been deported, an increase in 21 % from last year. So let’s focus on the 8 individual problematic cases. In terms of deporting Albanian criminals this is a bit of a ‘Glass 0.5% empty’ story.
  21. It might be instructive for you to take a look at the vote count in favor of Hamas at the election that brought Hamas to power. It’s a long while back, but it will nevertheless give an idea of what percentage of people in Gaza backed Hamas at the time. Hamas never has had a majority support in Gaza.
  22. Have a good day Nick, I wish you the best of luck finding the argument you are obviously looking for.
  23. I do support the Palestinian right to live peacefully in their own sovereign state, I’ve never said otherwise. I have never once ‘changed sides’. Stop making stuff up.
  24. Well make a note this time so you don’t have to waste both our time asking again.
  25. Yes. But that’s not a blanket acceptance of anything Israel does to achieve that aim. I believe I have given you this very same response to your very same question on at least two other occasions.
