The disgrace here is Iowa law which mandates financial restitution. The judge himself ruled favorably for the accused where he has the leeway to do so, reducing the custodial sentence by time already held in juvenile detention and commuting the remain to probation with the possibility of the criminal record being wiped clean. Thousands of people have recognized the injustice this young woman has suffered, her legal fees and the restitution she must now pay have been met by generous donations to the ‘go-fund-me’ appeal set up by her old math teacher to help her. What needs to change is Iowa’s draconian laws. Justice is being served, Trump’s pulling every stunt he can think of to try and slow it down but Justice is coming. Trump can have his KFC menus back, the classified and secret documents he stole will remain with the DOJ as evidence, after which they’ll be returned to the National Archives. Trump can answer for the whereabouts of the classified and secret documents he stole that are no longer in his possession. Trump is on indictment watch.

It won’t get that far, the DOJ have already said they will appeal the obviously lawned ruling.

Prince Andrew had his chance to clear his name, he decided he’d rather pay out millions in order to forgo that chance. He paid out millions and left the question of his guilt unanswered. He’s in a position suspicion that is of his own choosing, and aid for it even.

It was a civil law suit, the outcome of which is always a two part decision. Is the allegation substantiated? If substantiated how much compensation must be paid? Prince Andrew first demanded a trial by jury and then decided, of his own volition, to pay up. So innocent he thought paying out millions was the best option.

Perhaps they do. Use of a phone is not a definition of what constitutes being trafficked.
