  1. Some background data: https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2022/02/03/what-the-data-says-about-gun-deaths-in-the-u-s/
  2. Correct, but here’s a thing. The Second Amendment says absolutely nothing about Government controlling where guns may be bought and sold.
  3. ‘Federal Government’ is not entirely accurate. There are two chambers of Federal Government, one of which is currently blocking all attempts at changing gun laws.
  4. We know ‘superficial checks’ exist in Federal law and that even ‘superficial checks’ are not universally applied.
  5. False equivalence. Road accidents (the clue is in the name) are not deliberate mass murder.
  6. Take a one way hire from one of the main car hire companies from LHR to your home town/nearest drop off station. Then hire from a local hire company for the rest of your visit.
  7. The head that needs to roll is that if the governor himself.
  8. Oddly, when guns aren’t widely available (UK and Australia being examples), mass murders are far less common.
  9. False equivalence. Trump was speaking at the NRA event, an organization that promotes guns and opposes gun controls. Except of course when Trump is speaking.
  10. Let’s take the gun lobby at its word, ‘guns don’t kill people, people kill people’ and latterly ‘mental illness is the cause of gun violence’. If these two statements are true, why the objection to background checks? Why the objection to denying gun ownership to people with a record of violence? Why the objections to denying gun ownership to people suffering mental illness?
  11. Oh right, so NY State, Georgia State and the DoJ are not well down the road in their investigations of Trump’s crimes you claim were ‘crying wolf’.
  12. And so it begins to be reported. There is ample evidence that NY State, Georgia Stare and the DoJ have ongoing investigations and Grand Juries examining Trump and many of those who were in Trump’s administration. Why this has received so little press coverage is a mystery. However, next month the Congressional investigation into the events of January 6 goes to live TV, the game is about to change pace.
  13. Nobody cares about your lies BritMan, though depending on what lies you tell HMGov you may be breaking the law. ’Tony Blair blah blah’ is irrelevant whataboutary. Johnson broke the laws others were obeying despite the difficulties they personally suffered at the time, he then lied about it mIllions of people (voters) understand that.
  14. I thought you were done? Go back and read your posts to see who’s statements you are relying on.
  15. Please come back when you have a more credible witness.
  16. Well, yes, because it’s a salient point. You are using what Johnson says as some kind of proof that he did not break the law. It’s a proof that falls apart on the established fact that Johnson is a habitual liar. He has absolutely no credibility. Millions of people (voters) understand this.
  17. Johnson says a lot of things. Unfortunately he also tells a lot of lies, he’s s got a long record of lying, lying is his thing.
  18. Junior members of staff at that party were fined, not for drinking but for attending an illegal gathering. Johnson attended and then lied about it. Millions of people (voters) understand this.
  19. Obfuscation. The law breaking was not how many drinks were had. Millions of people understand this. Which is why I’m looking forward to the forthcoming bi-elections.
  20. Lying to parliament is not a ‘trivial’ matter.
