Are you allowed to take off solo for some R&R? Just thinking some of the Isaan dwellers might need some alone time now and again. You know a break from the ball and chain.

I traveled economy for decades as it's what my Co. booked for me. Recently I took my kid with me to US and booked Premium Economy for first time which runs double cost of economy. That alone is a world of difference. Only 2 bulkhead seats that are bigger, softer, more leg room, better food. Just makes for a better 13 hr flight. Upgrading to business would be doable but for 2 people that would run close to $9000. usd vs $4000 for PE. I just can't pull the trigger on that. Maybe when I start flying solo again I'll do the business class.

By this time I've got the yellow fuel warning. make a uturn to fuel at the bangcok whatever gas staion. Now I had to circle to the left to get to beach road. Today headed to T21, my plan is to exit hwy 36 to suk, head south to Nua. We'll see.

Living in Thailand I use a Ting sim in my USA phone which I use mainly for banking and can receive US calls at will. I was able to keep my US number I've had for decades. My bill here in Thailand is around $16.00 /mo. Problem is when in the US for a month and I use GPS daily for road trips. My bill for 1 month was $200. I used something like 15 gb of data. What do you do????????

I came into Pattaya a few days ago wanting to go to Central Mall, came onto Suk via the Pattaya 7. I always take Pattaya Nua to Beach Rd. That's a bad route now with road construction dividing North bound traffic. Needed fuel. OMG what a cluster f.......

I complained to my Doc in US about ear problem. Nurse had a basic squirt bottle with long tube attached filled with warm water. She basically flushed out the ear. In the small pan that collected water I could see quite a bit of sandy looking particles. Definitely worked.

Are you still miffed because I said I spend more than 3k/mo on 7-11? And yes I do buy eggs, milk, bread and sometimes butter at 7-11. What is my monthly food bill? I haven't a clue. I hit Makro usually when I'm low on coffee and it's easy to spend 10K stocking up on snacks, cheese, butter, olive oils plus soaps. I like to eat salmon and chicken. Sometimes I'll hit out local expat store for some good Aussie beef and their Thai minced beef isn't bad. We don't do food courts at the malls. Instead I prefer to spend money at their nice buffet restaurants. Last night I sent the ole lady out for food and she came back with steamed rice and boiled chicken for me wrapped in paper 40thb. and mango and sticky rice. Tomorrow maybe I'll cook at home. I don't have a budget. I know if I pay a 20K baht purchase like tires for the car I'll have to watch the spending a bit more careful. Guess you're just having a bad day. Sorry to hear it.
