I usually always try to count with the cashier the change she's giving back. But, it has happened I didn't and just took the change and later found out I'm 100 bht short. Do you suck it up to experience or do you go back to confront? Me, I feel like any confrontation over change has to happen the moment she gives you change. Not after you walk out the door, count the money and discover you got the wrong change. so, if I don't catch the mistake immediately I chalk it up to experience.

For thais they're already using the auto passport, so if you're with a thai kid, you have to leave her or him and use Foreigner line.

JHC trolling is what keeps this forum going. You have the country bumkins ragging on the Pattaya gentlemen and visa versa. You have the single guys ragging on the old guys with young g/fs. And on and on, it's like saying prostitution is illegal in Thailand.

Probably my favorite pet peeves which happen daily.

There are many more quiet beach destinations within a 1/2 hr drive. For less than $200. you can have a on the beach condo, nearby restaurants, a very quiet laid back existence. But for the guy who doesn't want a car and maybe not a MB then Pattaya is a great place for an old guy to hang his hat. And it doesn't hurt that there are many lady venues for when the call of the wild occurs.
