    The most successful treatments with chemo are when the cancer is caught early.. I also suspect Thailand does not have the most advanced chemo available. In my case, I was informed the targeted inhibitor I was taking was not available in Thailand.

    Ironically, the treatment for methanol poisoning is to drink ethanol. to help flush the methanol from the body, and its metabolites. The primary agent causing the damage is the metabolite formic acid, the same compound in ant stings.

    I check the internet every time for drug interactions when i am prescribed a new medication. IME Thai doctors are not all that competent in collecting medical histories. I've avoided a couple of potentially nasty combinations.

    Trump poured $20,000 into renting a factory to stage a fake union rally. The intention was to counter Biden's garnering of UAW support, which Harris will inherit. It blew up in his face when some signholders were not even union members. It's akin to his little excursion to Arlington.......

    Meta static means the cancer is spreading to other organs. Which means surgery and radiotherapy are fairly useless. Chemotherapy IMO is the only option, which may or may not be successful.

    IMO hydrogen is a waste of time until it comes from renewable energy. 95% of hydrogen is produced by steam reforming of methane to produce hydrogen and carbon dioxide. It's no better environmentally than simply burning the methane in an ICE. Just like EV's are no better than an ICE, if they are refuelled by power stations burning fossil fuel, except they do reduce the pollution load in cities.

    I am always amused by the US entry forms that designates non-Americans as aliens. I have been repeatedly tempted to ask officials where they want me to park my spaceship.

    I am amazed at the recuperative powers of some people. IIRC the OP was at death's door with heart failure, kidney stones, esophageal cancer, prostatitis, hepatitis and galloping impetigo. I was going to mention brain tumors, then realized that was completely implausible. My congratulations on your remarkable recovery, GG. Don't forget the pull and jerk exercises.

    Trump is preparing the ground for another denial of the results of the election. He is psychologically incapable of admitting any loss. I expect him to be inciting his followers to civil war. When he does, IMO Harris's first act as President should be to order his arrest and confinement, preliminary to putting him on trial for treason.

    My auto mechanic pointed out a vehicle carrier near his house in Chiang Rai loaded with vehicles. He said every day, there are one or more of the carriers heading back to Bangkok with repossessed vehicles. Many looked almost brand new. Many Thais are up to their eyeballs in debt, due to the obsession with buying new. If they said the hell with face, and bought secondhand within their capacity to repay, they would not be having these problems.
