I have stayed in high class hotels, when I was traveling on the company dime. I would not spend my own money on them, I'd regard it as wasted. All the OP has to do is look online for something with 5 stars. What one gets is a full minibar with exorbitant prices, restaurant room service, plush towels and expensive furniture. Read the Google reviews carefully. I once stayed at a Sheraton in New York that was a sh!thole.

DJT shares have only one asset, Truth Social. The real number of users is difficult to ascertain, Trump inflates them like he inflates apartment sizes. Truth Social has to grow , to get more advertising income. It's difficult to grow when a platform is posting hate speech. It repels advertisers, as Musk is finding out with X. Reporting revenue of $800,000 and expenses of $16 million does not look like a viable business, to anyone with a bit of sense. Truth Social reportedly has about half a million daily users. Twitter has 217 million, more than 400 times as many. The market cap of Twitter is $40 billion. Truth Social is "valued" at $4 billion. On those numbers compared with Twitter, utter BS. IMO Trump has a new group of suckers and losers, DJT investors.

IMO the key reason for Merchan to delay sentencing, was to deny Trump the influx of campaign funding he would have got with a jail sentence. If Trump got sentenced now, it would be automatically appealed, and he would stay out of jail on bail pending the appeal. Merchan is a smart jurist. He has taken away some of Trump's oxygen,

To stay out of jail. It only takes 1 of 91 criminal indictments to stick, and Trump is heading for jail. That probably terrifies him. OTOH, if he can get enough stupid people to return him to the White House, he can neuter the FBI and DOJ for the next 4 years. He probably thinks appointing Aileen Cannon was one of his better moves, given she was presiding over a trial involving treason.

It's $2 billion in shares that are held in escrow. As soon as they are released, and Trump starts selling, they are not worth $2 billion anymore. They are worth what the market decides when there are far more shares for sale than there are buyers. Personally, I prefer shares that have tangible assets, are managed by a competent board, and pay a good yield in dividends on the capital I have invested. Let me know when DJT shares meet those criteria. I won't hold my breath waiting.

That sounds to me very like tossing the baby out with the bathwater. It's a matter of record MAGA people are lower socio-economic class, with an average IQ 3-4 points less than the national average. In Australia, we have had a succession of conservative governments who think it's a good idea to save money by defunding trade schools. The end result - we have a national shortage of electricians, plumbers, carpenters etc. Personally, I'd prefer any bureaucracy to be run by smart people.

If Trump loses, the GOP needs to get rid of him quickly, so they can rebuild. As it stands, what they may have by way of sound policy is getting buried under a barrage of grievance and name-calling, with everything subordinated to Trump's needs. They can't even run their own campaigns, because he is hijacking funds to pay legal fees. He's shelling out $90,000 dollars a day. IMO the best thing for the GOP would be for Trump to lose catastrophically.

I am not sure what you mean by loyalists. Xi and Putin are examples of rulers who only get told what they want to hear. IMO Trump has the same inclinations. Early on, Trump said Mexico would pay for the wall. Any competent adviser in foreign policy would have told him that's never going to happen.

H2S is nasty stuff, because it paralyses the olfactory nerve. One can't tell when they have had too much. It's as lethal as hydrogen cyanide. For me, hydrogen fluoride is the nastiest.
