  1. Russians are paying a steep price for electing Putin. 21% interest rates as just one example. The price for electing Trump is like a train coming down the tunnel.
  2. Try telling that to the families who have lost their breadwinners to a meat grinder. How many Russians have dachas? Then take a look at average Russian life expectancy. It is ten years less than Australia.
  3. You obviously know very little about Russian demographics, and the Russian economy. They are both on the wrong side of history.
  4. Doesn't matter. My point is Russians are not living in a democracy.
  5. Anyone cheering for the Russians should try living in their country, subject to their laws and living standards.
  6. I don't take any notice of a hair toss. When a woman pushes her boobs against my arm - different story.
  7. There are some seriously sick people on this thread, that think Russia winning is a good thing.
  8. Nothing to do with the question in your OP.
  9. Russia is murdering Ukrainians. With everything Putin can muster. Bombs, bullets, artillery, missiles. It is brandishing nukes. AFAIK China is not murdering the civilians of any other countries. It's not brandishing nukes. Perhaps the distinction eludes the OP.
  10. It's like me with the Red Phoenix threads.
  11. Nobody ever seems to consider the fact the 72 virgins also have 72 mothers-in-law. IME virgins are way overrated, give me an experienced woman who enjoys shagging every time.
  12. I think I look at some threads because deep down, I am a masochist.
  13. IMO the OP has fallen off the wagon so often he should put on a Michelin Man suit, to save himself from bruising. It would also help when he jumps to conclusions.
  14. I have no preferences as to where I die. Although there will probably be more people mourning my passing in Thailand. Dead is dead.
  15. My mistake, I thought annuities stopped on death, with nothing going to the estate.
  16. I am claiming Waitz and Hegseth both served in the National Guard. While Hegseth was deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, it was not in a combat role. Describing him as a combat vet is stretching the truth beyond breaking point, quite a normal experience with your posts.
  17. Which wine region? Mick Morris and Stanton and Killeen in the Rutherglen area made big bold reds and fortified wines, like a punch in the mouth.
  18. At this juncture, I would regard a bank as safer than an insurance company. Reason: Climate change is playing merry hell with their risk assessments.
  19. BS. Kennedy hated Johnson's guts, it was reciprocated.
  20. When Waitz had decades of experience with the National Guard, every right-winger rushed to say he was not a real soldier. When Hegseth has the same experience, he morphs into a combat vet. Lying again, but I am used to that from you. The Senate would approve a drover's dog for the job of finding truffles. No problem with peeing, as long as it is in your direction.
  21. Why wouldn't the OP either buy bank shares for the dividends, or live on the interest from funds on deposit? at 6% interest, that's 780,000 baht pa. More than enough to live on. The capital is preserved. Annuities reduce the risk of outliving one's savings. They also are cream for the insurance companies if one dies early.
  22. You are the one who first mentioned Trump. RFK Jr. has no medical qualifications. He's an antivaxxer and conspiracy theorist in charge of America's health. Tell me how you think he is qualified, it will be an interesting exercise in doublethink. Or perhaps you can tell me how a television presenter has the experience to run America's military.
  23. Name me one other President who required personal loyalty from ALL the people he appointed to their positions, WITHOUT regard to qualifications and experience. Let's start with Abraham Lincoln, shall we? Or JFK and Johnson?
  24. I guess I don't understand how anyone but a would-be dictator would appoint people on the sole qualification of personal loyalty.
