    Plumbers are reluctant to install them. They claim bacteria can travel back to the mains, which is complete BS. I got them fitted on two properties, my son also has them. They are probably less prone to leaks or bursting than the hoses on every washing machine.

    A course in defensive driving back in Oz has worked for me very well in Thailand. My Thai mechanic has informed me I should watch out for new Audis, Mercs, and Beemers. Apparently most are owned by Chinese, who he rates as far worse drivers than Thais.

    Agree. It does not matter how smart, fast, strong or tough you think you are. There will always be someone smarter, faster, stronger or tougher than you.

    I was taught by my father to strike a woman was beyond the pale. That was reinforced by male teachers in primary and secondary school. IMO most of the posters on this thread that think it is OK to hit a woman never had decent male role models.

    In Chiang Rai, they seem to be replacing a lot of bitumen road surface with concrete. Perhaps it is more durable, whoever makes cement must be doing well. My pet peeve is storm water grates on the road, designed to test shock absorbers at anything over 10 km/hr.

    I exercise twice a day, play golf three times a week, swim most days. Don't bruise yourself jumping to conclusions. Attempting to put me down with a stupid post only demonstrates you have nothing. Why not just admit you hate women? Your posts on multiple threads are ample evidence.

    I know how too. Restrain them, easy enough with the judo holds I know. Not that the situation has ever arisen, I treat women with respect. You don't, they are just receptacles to you.

    The best avocados I have found here are quite elongated, They are called long neck avocados. The Russell and Pura Vida varieties are from southern Florida, the Caribbean and Central America. They are grown in Thailand, and Vietnam exports them. Easy to tell when they are ripe, the skin turns from green to purple. IMO tastier than Haas.
