How much racial strife do you see in Thailand? How many gun massacres occur in Thailand? Do you prefer beached whale American women to slim and beautiful Thai women? Do you prefer American family law to Thai laws? IMO common sense.

Put simply, there is more money to be made from medicines which allay symptoms, than those that completely cure a condition, so that is where the research mostly goes. Having said that, the advances in targeted inhibitors and immunology over the last 20 years are quite incredible.

Wars are about theft writ large. Territory, resources, water, oil. Ukraine has 25-30% of the world's black soil ( chernozem ) , which is the richest and most productive agricultural soil on the planet. Putin is not insane. He is a cunning sociopath. He plays Trump like a harp. Putin's mistake when invading Ukraine was to believe the intelligence supplied by the FSB, who were telling him what they thought he wanted to hear.

If it were not for the modern medical system, I would be dead 2-3 times over. About 20 years ago, or 2 years ago. I am pretty sure any prayers to a deity would have been useless. Your post is a good example of why the concept of evolution has been so unpopular with religious groups.

I have noted you refuse to address the question of original sin, a concept unique to Christianity, which makes as much sense as an ashtray on a motorbike. If I believe in anything, it is science. Which is subject to rigorous rules of evidence, and testing of hypotheses to destruction. It's why science has always sat uncomfortably with religion, because faith discards any pretense of evidence and testing.

They believe in Allah, just like Jews believe in Yahweh. What makes you think they are any better than Jupiter or Odin? You are in complete denial of the fact you were indoctrinated as a child. To admit you could be wrong is a bridge too far, it would turn your world upside down.

There are 2.5 billion Christians, 2 billion Muslims. On current birth rates for both god versions, there will be more Muslims than Christians by 2050. At that point, they will be the majority view you are espousing as being right. Muslims regard Jesus as a holy person. They don't give him the status you do.

I am not seeking to convert people to atheism or agnosticism. OTOH, Christians, Jews and Muslims seek to proselytize whole nations. Yes, I may be totally wrong. I could be right as well. Appeal to majority thinking is a crappy argument. IIRC the heliocentric propositions of Copernicus and Galileo were met with fervent majority opposition.

An utterly false argument. Non-believing parents don't brainwash their children. They allow them to make up their own minds about religion and belief. If you claim you were not brainwashed by going to a Catholic school, you are being disingenuous. That's the whole point of denominational schools, indoctrination.
