Where I am in the US I can get it for "free" however I need to drive to it 30 miles. But the problem is there is no guarantee to receive the result before departure. Same day result, $200. Well, no need that now anyway.

I need to go back (not a tourist) and I can not wait longer. I have no choice but taking the risk of scam. It did not matter if your pre-flight PCR test was neg. or pos. If they want to trap you by an arrival pos. test they do it anyway, but at least $200 will be saved with no pre test. I got my Pass in 2 days too, hassle free. I noticed that almost all seats are already taken in my flight (Narita-Suvarnabhumi) , early April !!!

Has anyone tried by iPad or iPhone ? Take photos and save them to "files", will be converted to JPEG . I have not tried yet, not sure if possible to be uploaded (JPEG pages in one file).

I'm not sure if there is any "lab" that can do this. Pay the damage in one condition. Get a sample from damaged car, if match with your cleaner by lab. The lab result says all.

You are right if those old halogen bulbs are 220V. If you have a voltmeter it would be easy to find out. Or perhaps there is some printed information on bulbs that indicate the working voltage. But if the voltage is 12V (as Crossy mentioned) then no driver needed. LED light bulbs will do the job.

However this is not the OP case, but keep in mind that you shall be asked for something unusual. A week ago, I was asked for bank statement for non-o 800,000 "extension". Never been asked before and the IO insisted that I need to get one for my extension !!!, but next IO asked for my old bank book !!! needed to see more than a year history of fund in my "CD" bank account !!!! Fortunately I did not have to get a statement (it won't happen in one or 2 days), but I had to go back next day and show my old book+a signed copy of it. Unexpected surprises. Even though you believe that your papers are in right order (because of last extension).

My concern is if I can get 3 months non O in Chiang Mai. Or do I have to do it in Chaeng Wattana ?

I thought to leave the country without renewing my extension. Can I start over by a visa exempt and apply for a new retirement in Chiang Mai ?
