  1. He needs to stick a rubber tube up himself every night? My god. And I hope he sleeps alone.
  2. Look at the number of 'sad' responses to your silly pedantry, and maybe take a look at your life? Anyway, as others understood, I was referring to yearly renewal of extension of my O-A visa, using the very unoriginal TM7. General comment to forum users: Thinking a little about other users of this forum, the Asean News 'newsletter' headlines I saw on my phone this morning make me sad, it's become very juvenile. The 'Featured Topics': loud farting at night, 'falling' for marriage and ruining your life, white people smell like wet dogs, wetting the bed a lot, do Jews have high IQ.... The little value I get from Asean News is becoming drowned in a sea of puerile drivel. No need to tell me not to let the door hit me on the way out, I'm too quick for that. Sad though.
  3. You're dreaming about water sports, just buy a rubber sheet for better enjoyment.
  4. Look back through the recent posts here. Emojis under your comments only show people are saddened or confused by you....
  5. There you are doing it again. You're self-obssessed. I've told you already, it's not all about you. 😊
  6. You get far more negative emojis than any others when you continually nitpick and/or take offence. I've seen it. Now go away you irritating person. You really do think it's all about you. 🙏🏽
  7. I've been asked for tea money only once by immigration; to transfer my visa stamp to a new passport. I gave the money and said I require the proper pink receipt. The money was returned to me inside my completed passport. I've had my OA visa renewed yearly for 10 years without having any questions about not having a TM30 despite my obvious passport stamps showing Thailand exits and entries. Maybe I have the right face? 😇
  8. Two 'confused' icons under your posts I'll add a third 😅
  9. I was writing for readers in general. Remember, it's not all about you....
  10. Police taking tea money for an infringement that didn't take place is common here. You change lanes 5 or 10 metres before a solid white line starts on a road but they magically see you doing it 5 or 10 metres later. They station themselves at likely spots to pay for their anticipated soapy massages for the next week. If they threaten to hold onto your license until you reach the police station demand it back on the spot, it's just another form of pressure for you to hand over a bit of cash. They won't write a ticket if they even get 200 Baht out of you. Just negotiate calmly and with humour.
  11. I live in Asia and subscribe to a UK IPTV service for £70 every year, for a lot of years now. Their small app is loaded (by me) onto my set top box (no extra charge) and I watch all UK/US and other channels including all SKY channels and all PPV sports events, no VPN needed. I've always found the idea of fully loaded boxes a bit naff. I won't name the service as they keep a low profile, no website and communication on a few private social media channels. They have many subscribers so it's personal recommendations only. That's how they avoided the huge takedown of IPTV sellers a few years ago. I don't think they accept new subs from set top box users now as there can be a security problem through leaking MAC addresses on bad setups, but using the app on Firestick or smart TV is fine. Sorry I won't recommend them here, but find one of these that's been operating for a few years and you'll be set.
  12. Hah, yes but it's not water with beer!
  13. The only reason I can think of for having a prepaid credit card (in effect just a debit card) is that I believe some online sellers only accept credit cards although I haven't found one in a long while, even airlines accept straight debit cards these days. Also do you get some extra insurance on the purchase?
  14. That 'fat Brit' was German, idiot.
  15. This 'don't ever buy' thing makes me laugh. 10 years rental of a 3 bed 3 bath pool villa would have cost me around 3 million baht. I bought the house instead at a good price of 4.5 million (market was higher but seller was a son working out parents' probate) . I'm quids in. 😂
  16. Wen Obama says 'it's going to be close ', you know it means currently they expect to lose.
  17. Duh. Because I can. I like the taste of both beer and water. I drink both, but not in one glass.
  18. Which weirdo is posting a confused face on almost every post here?
  19. I could accept 'cocaine fuelled', but not 'cannabis fuelled'. Cannabis is not fuel, in fact just the opposite.
  20. That muted both as they were engaging in a long to and fro which stopped other matters being raised, actually. But yes, the moderators showed a clear anti-Republican bias during the debate.
  21. This is a very old matter, he should have known this before he emigrated, I did years ago. There is a cross-party committee in the UK parliament dedicated to changing this policy. It was only established in 2023 so it's early days, cross fingers.
  22. If you want it same day you pay 500 Baht and get it issued in the small rooms behind the building. Go to the photocopy room first.
  23. And you lose when it falls. Swings and roundabouts. Not a reason to keep 800k in country year on year.
  24. Talk dirty to them? It just reads like a personals ad. 555
  25. Drinking high strength, tooth enamel-peeling farm cider in the West Country we used to add a gin top to make it a little more 'dry'.
