Whatever the 'task' at hand, I would try to think how to accommodate natures calling one way or another even if it meant carrying a shovel with me. Bunging up seems like last resort.

Why not.
They seem to have the virus under control and they do make up approx 18% of the world population and are perhaps by tourist numbers spending and investing the most in Thailand travel/tourist/property industry.
Unfortunately, in the US, UK and many countries in Europe, the virus is out of control as the inhabitants of those nations feel their freedom of whatever is important.
Because everything about China's ruling party is a lie..
..including reporting about covid 19.
If not try listening to Dr Li Men Yang

Just search google for 'dog rehoming thailand' and it brings up the charities/groups who find new homes for abandoned and homeless animals.
Some do send animals all over the world for rehoming.
Here's a few;

Just now, Mario666 said:.I am not a young boy, so people telling me to invest in "Long Term" stocks is not appealing anymore!
If stocks are not your thing...
Unless you have enough to invest in rent paying property and want to generate income and an asset to pass on as a legacy..
The only real alternative as I see it is a fixed income fund or..
A lifestyle business or..
Remain in cash and enjoy it.

This looks good to me for a retiree.
For timings I would remain in cash for now and begin with gold when it nears 1800usd/oz and wait until early 2021 for the start of the next multi year bull market to drip feed into stocks and bonds.

I think this visa is just for show so it is more difficult for government to be accused of not trying.
Thailand government is correct to be cautious about the virus spread but they have handled it only due to strict border closures and no funding for follow up testing within the country which was never going to be sustainable long term for the tourism sector.
This 'special visa' is a very lame attempt.
Either that or they are allowing desperate family members a way to enter whilst fleecing them for every satang they can squeeze out of each person..
Or both.

thai Buddhist celebrate “duan sip” last week.
Every year the sea gypsies wait at the temples with color buckets so Buddhists share the food and give the sea gypsies money. For make merit.
Sea gypsies not Buddhist
The op is a false narrative. Or the reporter is low knowledge.
Are these 'sea gypsies' as you call them not human and therefore do not require food?
Ah thats OK then if they are poor and cannot afford much..? Yes?

No, wait. Does England not have over 3000 new infections per day, does England not have a testing system that is about to collapse, does England not have resurgent city by city lockdowns, does England not have the threat of curfews being imposed???
Why would anyone in their right mind want to go to this shambolic mess of a country!
At least the UK have a testing system - the reason it is at maximum capacity is becasue they test so many people. It requires some adjustment to accommodate the symptomatic first. Easily implemented.
How is your
head in the sandtesting system going in Thailand?Oh I forgot they don't have one!

it was only a few years back that anyone staying longer than 3 months on a tourist visa was immediately labelled a major criminal only worthy of deportation.
They soon changed their tune!
