We got this foreigner in our housing estate who buys up the older houses and renovates them, then selling them off. He's there 7 days a week, first thing he does is front fence with a tarpaulin extension to hide him from IO I'd say. Looks like hard work to me. He organises the Thai contractors, I often see him working hard. Not sure where he lives, I've had a conversation with him asking where he lives, he says he's been living in our village for 20 years in the next row of houses. I've been living there for 20 years, never seen him before. 🤔

When you eventual find a condo that you approve, don't forget to invite us all here that commented to the house warming. I've got my house warming gift picked out already. Make sure your new condo has a BIG fridge to fit in all the beer you buy for our party. 👍

Officials Shut Down Allegedly Illicit Nightclub in Pattaya

Oh dear, District chief has not been getting his kickbacks. Very angry Mr. Weekit Manarojkit 😡 -
My house gets hot and stays hot, I must use AC. I have a condo, faces east, shaded by palm trees, ground floor, pool access. I rarely use AC, it's like a cave, stays cool all day and you think COOL, balcony looks over swimming pool. A few weeks of the year I use the AC for a couple of hours a day in between my swimming pool dips. I started using the fan now the hot weather has come back.

No charging option in condo - Need advice
SAFETY FIRST replied to Dewey's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
If I lived in a condo I would never buy an EV or expect to charge my vehicle from a communal electric outlet. In my children's condo I see a few old Chinese woman riding these little electric bicycle/scooter things, they use the communal electricity daily. I brought it to the Juristic management attention that they can catch on fire etc but they don't seem to be concerned. -

I take it the train driver swerved to miss the pedestrian. -
Moroccan arrested for murder of Austrian DJ on Koh Pha-ngan
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Koh Samui News
suspect, 37 year old Anas Rakib, Moroccan. How many times does this happen. 2 foreigners become friends in Thailand, one kills the other. I must say, Aussies are too friendly at times. People from different countries will take advantage of this friendlyness. Take out there fellow Aussies. -
Load it up, connect your AC units to it. Communal electric, the co-owners pay for your cooling.

No need to be nasty. Aggressive, hostile comments are all too common for those with mental health issues. -

Its becoming more dangerous with all the foreigners arriving with mental health issues. Very dangerous now. Should test all foreigners before awarding long term visas. -

A cars blue book has all the particulars, owners details, cars serial numbers, tax payment etc. The car is basically worthless without its blue book. -
Coaches/buses have been a problem. Big reduction when New Nordic went bust and during covid but are coming back.

Agree, MIS is an excellent school and great value.

I'm not sure exactly how they colour code their wires, never worked in America. For many years I've worked offshore, for an American company, sadly with too many Americans (joking, they're OK). I see red wires used all the time for grounding/earthing.
