No, letter (CofR) is only required when buying or selling.

Yes, sadly some of the foreigners are but the Thais are the friendliest, most creative guys on the planet, always something unusual, out of this world to see.

I went everyday, been going for years. This year was the quietest I've seen it. Saturday had some heavy rain, it stopped just in time for the 3pm afternoon ride through Pattaya streets.

Story Of My Thai Citizenship Application
SAFETY FIRST replied to dbrenn's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I've been following this thread in dribs and drabs. This Mark guy below is very happy to receive his Thai citizenship. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/CNjHtXN9LBWt1ZGy/?mibextid=2JQ9oc He doesn't look that old, I hope he's ready for conscription. -
Very big of you to allow homosexuals to do whatever they want at home. My point is...... I don't want to see men kissing in public or as I'm scrolling through Apps like Facebook etc. I'm sure you knew that, you are just being an antagonizer . The world (including AN members) is full of different people. I was brought up at home (good parenting) and school that being gay was wrong.

Yeah, lots of phoneys. I saw a stocky, black Dutchman and a Mr Wong, Canadian guy causing trouble last week. Lots of middle eastern Aussie, Hells Angeles biker guys about making trouble in Thailand too. Thailand has the right attitude, being tough with citizenship. Western countries give out their passports willy nilly. Well done Thailand, keep up the great work. 👍

Strange posting, Age has nothing to do with it. Most young men would love to live here. I relocated here in my 30's but it's not for everyone, you need to have finances, this is why most guys leave relocating for when they retire. I've been working offshore on a 28 day rotation. I was required to travel to different countries for work, having BKK as a point of origin suited me and my family. I travel on my time off so flying out of Sydney or Brisbane was not suitable, I save 8 or so hours every month flying out of Thailand.

Australian governor-general to visit Thailand, strengthening ties
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Hey Dave, see you in Pattaya next week. 👍 -
Nope no chill pill required. Don't watch any crap on the TV. Only time I turn on the TV is to watch the NRL.

I feel ill and offended when I see 2 guys kissing, I can watch 2 girls kissing all day long. Its the way we were brought up, it's not our fault, we learnt from shows like the Brady Bunch. I'm not bothered about gay men or their behavior but to all you queer guys keep it behind closed doors. Boys play in dollhouse psychiatrist.mp4

Tragedy on Lufthansa Flight from Bangkok to Germany
SAFETY FIRST replied to NextG's topic in Thailand News
This would be quite an awful sight. I bet the passengers were terrified, thinking is this contagious etc. I flew many times to and from Jeddah, every year during Mecca, Hajj, you'd expect a passenger to die (rediculous religion forcing these elderly people to attend), most deaths were silent, passing in the toilet. Very old people, probably never flown or traveled before in their life. Before landing the flight attendants would knock on the toilet door, no answer, look inside then lock the door, the plane would land. Abu Dhabi was an issue because your connecting flight to BKK would be delayed for a few hours. -
What is the right stuff. My diet is full of quality foods, occasionally I'll have a few beers, French fries, eat a cake etc. but generally I eat nutritional food. Control what you eat, continue with the gym you will reap the rewards. We are all managers, we must manage our lifestyles, if you can't you have failed as a manager. Some fail as managers, this is why we see so many overweight and obese people these days. POOR MANAGERS

And so the exodus of quality expats begins. This time it's personal
SAFETY FIRST replied to Galong's topic in Phuket
Sadly, 1 expat leaves Thailand 5 foreigners arrive. Too many expats here now, go home foreigners. How good it was back in the late 90's. No moaners, whingers or whiners, only genuine foreigners and beautiful Thais here. I miss the good old days. These forums are saturated with bitterness, nastiness, just delinquents complaining at times -
I recently read that a couple of Brits were causing trouble in a restaurant, soi Buakhao because their baked beans was touching the eggs on their 99 baht breakfast. Sadly, the owner was used to the Brits always moaning and complaining about this and that but they started getting very angry and showing aggression on this occasion. 😮

I've got a condo at PKCP, bought it off the plan many years ago. Never lived in it, had it rented out occasionally. Great location behind Big C extra, close to town, very low yearly maintenance, got everything going for it. They sell for reasonable price, check it out.
