As a Brit I am proud my country has given Thailand's first female PM a long visa and not thrown her back to the junta dogs. She should retire gracefully as she did her bit and is held in fond regard by most Thais. Don't forget, not voted out, thrown out and that is not the British way.

Can someone please explain the attraction of online dating.
I guess pretty girls will be flooded with messages from guys who want to see them. If a guy is really so interesting that a girl picks him out of 100 others then the same guy should have no problems at all to pick up girls somewhere outside (shopping center, whatever)
And if a girl plays that game and sees every day another guy why does she do that? (I have some ideas)
And how many good girls would look for a foreigner on a dating site which is full of hookers?
I don't think it's impossible to find someone. But somehow I guess walking around with open eyes should be a better alternative. One major reason is that people know right away if there is some kind of chemistry or not. Online pictures and descriptions say very little about a person.
Sure can. I have dated scores, as have my friends. Easy to pick, bit like shopping. If a girl is online dating one can assume she's ready for some fun, given the right circumstances, and she's bored, lonely or really is looking for a serious
sugar daddywhoops sorry I mean loving partner.AS long as one makes it clear that you are looking for 'dating' not 'serious' it's all fair game. I have found very few real 'hookers' but many 'flexible' students and side-liners. Beats going to the bar! and it works I have used them for 10 years, on and off, and probably met a couple hundred and, boy, have I had fun.

Well unless the 100,000s you claim to have had was money you desperately needed, why not wait a few months? Surely with an investment that large you were reading analyst reports and seeing the projections, which most people reckon will lead to even higher prices than we've seen.
My personal goal of holding for 5-10 years is based on worst case scenario. If my holdings became worth the target value I've set (in THB) anytime between now and whenever, I would sell (and use the money to expand my business). I can afford to lose what I've invested as it was just extra beer money.I think you'd be very, very lucky if they get back to anywhere near where they were within 5 years. If I see movement and excitement maybe I'll jump back in but Thailand is enforcing restrictions and as soon as I read that I got out. You are buying nothing, that's the problem. The future value is in money transfers but there is no way the world will sit there and allow that with no regulation/taxes. Good luck. BTW I was sitting on a huge profit at one stage, sold and grinned but them bought back hoping for a bounce that never came.

Why didn't you just hold onto them?
I'm not buying BTC but I am buying a few altcoins and my plan is to hold them for between 5 - 10 years, and maybe longer depending how many I can accumulate and what price they reach in 5 years or so.
I only use money that I would throw away, so if they all go to zero with no chance of a rebound I won't have lost anything.Because I had 100,000s in there and did not want to wait the 5-10 years you propose. Would rather take the loss and move on - life's too short.

We got toasted dude. Well I know I did, now sold every last coin at a loss. The concept is still relevant but the dynamics crushed the dream.

The article is dated Dec. '17 and says:-
"Indeed, it seems that the DUP are more than happy for their policy to match the Republic of Ireland, rather than the rest of the UK, when it comes to bodily autonomy for women and girls."
The majority in N. Ireland are protestant, whilst the majority in S. Ireland are catholic - so I still see no reason why the DUP would object to a referendum on the issue.
I don't disagree but they are a fundamentalist bunch and won't budge on this or the gay issue. They really think, as fundamentalists do, that God is on their side and Jesus speaks to them and the Bible say's this or that. Religion and politics should never mix.

'Thainess' you can't bottle it, examine it nor understand it. You could not pay me to marry a Thai as they are wedded to drama and, often but not always, it ends in tears. Good luck and hope it works out for you but you are married to a 12 year old and if you view it thus maybe you can work it out (I view most Thais as 12 year old's and it makes life easier).

Youth is the real hope for Thailand. I worry for FFP but wish them well.
Can't we have a Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event?

Genuine question as I'm not informed on N. Ireland politics - why would the DUP object to a referendum on the issue?
Or am I missing the point of your post?

Surely the answer is to hold a referendum in N. Ireland?
Yes but the problem is the coalition. It will come, probably after the coalition is no longer needed, but right now May has no choice unfortunately.

If the law in NI is not relaxed now in order to conform with the rest of the UK you will see a drive to separate from the UK. The IRA win.

If you can't score with online dating then there's something seriously wrong. Assuming you are willing to 'spend' a bit.

Dude I never said anything is 100 percent. Stop putting words in my mouth. Again the vast majority of men sexually attracted to Lbs are straight identified. Sex acts and orientation aren't the same thing.
