Blow to Biden as poll shows Trump in lead for 2024 presidential election
LosLobo replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
So now you're admitting the high price of $6.00 for gas is due to California's high tax and maybe not Biden's fault. The fact is that the high taxes were there during Trump's reign. So, it seems your rhetoric 'Was your life better under Trump or biden?' may just be 'blowing smoke'. -

With respect, instead of worrying about others' private affairs, have you ever considered focussing on the legitimacy of yourself currently claiming to be an Australian resident for tax purposes when you are obviously living in Thailand? -

Blow to Biden as poll shows Trump in lead for 2024 presidential election

Obviously Bidenomics is not only responsible for US's relatively low inflation rates but also the currently high inflation rates of most of the world. Trump's toilet dwelling must be terribly boring nowadays without those boxes full of classified documents to read. -

The poll has already be taken. A posters' 'reputation' is a good indicator of the degree of one's community's acceptance, and I would suggest in this case, also imply KH's 'troll' index. KH's reputation of 827 for 2,249 posts has a score ratio of 0.37 per post which is remarkably low, and I would suggest is due to his 'trolling'. Whereas Lacessit, has a reputation of 36,800 for 21,920 posts, which is a score of 1.7 per post, and being a 'good' reputation does not suggest any 'trolling. The empirical and self-evident proof of KH being a troll is the 500 repetitive, unwanted. needless, redundant and superfluous posts with the only aim of baiting and generally insulting the intelligence of other posters. -
You have already seen the best in Thailand, I would suggest their diagnosis and their remedy is sufficient. I have also consulted Rutnin for dry eye and they were very good. I am curious what they prescribed. Demodex are transmitted human to human, and it is unlikely you caught them elsewhere, if you have them at all. I would be cautious using tea tree oil as it can irritate and cause dermatitis. Using baby shampoo can cause dryness and can be problematic. There are many hospitals in Bangkok that offer an 'eyelid spa' for Blepharitis with heating and expressing of the eye lid glands, followed by a 'scrub'. I have mine expressed every 6 months and usually don't need lubricating eye drops. Eyelid Spa (Eyelid Hygiene Treatment) Package | MedPark Hospital

I was going to suggest that it might be dry eye as sensitivity to light and cold air from A/C are classic symptoms. I experienced both before being diagnosed with it. Tears ducts are not the main lubricant in eyes, it is the lipid secretions from your Meibomian glands, the glands at the top and bottom of your eye lids. As you age these glands can become dysfunctional and can become blocked. They are also affected by a high bacterial load, sometimes caused by the faeces from demodex mites. The level of dysfunction can vary between eyes, as in my case. Best book an appointment with any ophthalmologist, as you will need a slit lamp examination, for a proper diagnosis in any case. I would try some basic sodium carmellose eye drops if you need some relief whilst waiting.

Congratulations on your achievement of 501 posts, 500 of which have been unnecessary nonsense. This once was an informative 15-year-old topic with interesting content. Like-minded reasonable people could come here and respectively discuss, what I would say would be one the most existential matters of their present life, ie funding of their overseas retirement. You have single-handedly brought that to an end. -

I would suggest that you received your quote from the grand Bumrungrad Hospital, where the chandeliers in the reception are very nice. No doubt, they add to the ambience of the short waiting time. However, they will not improve the outcome of cataract operations. If you look at the websites for both Bumrungrad and Rutnin, you will find that the same doctors provide the same service at both hospitals with remarkably different price tags. I am sure Sheryl will have a recommendation for the most capable doctor. I have attended Rutnin twice over the past 15 years and the only complaints I have are the long waiting times for the initial consultation and of course no chandeliers. You will find many other hospitals and doctors that offer lower costs, but eyesight is the most precious of our senses and personally I value excellence over bargain prices.

The best place in town is the Rutnin Eye Hospital, I would get a price from there!

What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2023)

The Man from Earth (2007) - IMDb 7.8/10 was excellent. The follow-up, The Man from Earth: Holocene (2017) - IMDb 5.2/10 was a good example of why some movies should not have a sequel.
