More than a third of US adults say Biden’s 2020 victory was not legitimate
LosLobo replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Thank you for your post. 'My burger with the lot' must have hit the spot because you decided to regurgitate it twice in your reply. I am also deeply honoured by your ad hominem attack. Some may say they are only a desperate last resort when you have nothing else to offer, but in reality, they are also a subliminal admission of yielding to a more worthy opponent's argument. QED -

The one I am watching and the one reviewed in IMDB, is the 2hr 38 min version. Napoleon (2023) - IMDb

Contrary to what the video title below says, the movie has now dropped. Though going by the reviews, that may not necessarily be a good thing. Napoleon - Storm Review 60" - Only In Cinemas Now (youtube.com)

Your 'opinion' is not supported by any evidence to 'follow'. There were Republican members in the committee and the outcome I suggest would have not just been based on the chairman's decision but the whole of the committee. As you said the lead was 'democratic', (small 'd'). Perhaps Nany Pelosi rejected McCarthy's selection offer because many may have been involved in the conspiracy. It would be improper to include co-conspirators in a panel to judge wrong doing, where there may be referrals to the Justice System GOP lawmakers were ‘intimately involved’ in Jan. 6 protest planning, new report shows | PBS NewsHour There were many Republicans, who were allowed to attend the event, in fact those 'objecting' were expressly invited. Some Republicans, such as Kevin McCarthy, Gym Jordan, Scott Perry and Andy Biggs, defied subpoenas and criticized the committee. Thailand’s environment, with its high temperatures, humidity, and air pollution, is likely different from what you’re used to at home. These factors could potentially affect your health. Colds are typically more common during the cold winter months when people spend more time indoors, increasing the likelihood of exposure to viruses. Similarly, in Thailand, you might spend more time indoors due to the heat and air pollution, potentially increasing your exposure to cold viruses. Furthermore, air pollution and mould from the high humidity, can cause respiratory issues, which can mimic common cold symptoms.

My go to place daytime in Phuket Town used to be Uptown opposite Expo, the restaurant has closed and is now Only Yum which seems to be getting good reviews. Saturday nights with western friends used to be Thammachat (Natural) followed by drinks at Timber Hut.

Mr Moo was my favorite and best all-round restaurant for 15 years, all the food not only the Khao Thom is excellent and reasonably priced.

Jeffrey Epstein: US court releases list of people connected to financier
LosLobo replied to CharlieH's topic in World News
Thank you for your reply. I have already disproved your OP, QED. Regurgitating the same garbage, adds little to the conversation. My only suggestion is that 'if you want to have a hope of keeping up', add some logical evidence based on facts (for which will need a link from a credible source). -
Jeffrey Epstein: US court releases list of people connected to financier

Fox has mischaracterised the issue, by the House rules video records are not required when 'written transcripts of them were provided'. Fox said in defence of one of their many court cases for lying, that a reasonable person of ordinary intelligence would not conclude Fox News as fact. What does that say about you? Thousands died, besides Russians, Putin killed thousands of innocent Ukrainians during his asset Trump's reign from 2017 to 2021. No doubt many unnecessarily died when Trump illegally withhold US arms for months, in his effort to blackmail Zelensky, witnessed by his perfect phone call. Trump's effort to support Putin continues and more likely, there will more deaths due to him commanding the GOP to withhold Ukraine funding as with speak. I think you are being deceived by the GOP Fox et alia. This is only the Right trying to demonize Biden in an effort to normalize the aberrant behaviour Trump. I would suggest a loving person showing a child affection in a grand-fatherly manner would not be a concern to anyone. Being a Brit, I would think you would be familiar with.....'Honi soit qui mal y pense'. But when the man is a proven sex offender and rapist, with multiple allegations of sexual misbehavior with a score of females including a court case for a 13-year-old, I would suggest otherwise. Trump was also on seven flight lists on Epstein's ****** Express. Met Gala (youtube.com) -
What Car would you buy now sub 800k Baht
LosLobo replied to tigerbeer's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Taxi-Meter's are typically the Toyota Corolla Altis. I had one and never had an issue. IMO, there are a good choice in the city but as they have a low ground clearance not so good on flooded roads. SUV's fare much better in that case. -
I am watching this and enjoying it, thanks for the recommendation. It is reminiscent of Lessons in Chemistry.

Toyota Yaris Cross, base model 789k. Decent 200+mm ground clearance, for the flooded road occurrence which happens in most parts of Thailand. -
I agree, although the production is characterised as a Drama/Thriller, I suggest it is also a comedy and Lamb provides the comic relief which as you say makes the show.
