Well they came ,3 nice guys we chatted ,our neighbour came over showed her paperwork ,she has lived there 17 years ,us 13 , we had our picture taken with her outside the house, all over quite quickly ,no hassle at all .

they did mention while talking to the wife ,the reason they now do house visits ,is to make sure people are really married . 

came to our house today ,nice guys ,had a laugh and a chat ,our neighbour came in showed her paperwork ,we all had our picture taken outside the house ,no problems .

got it on lime torrents .

Sorry so long getting back ,no they do not require a witness there ,but you must have one with you when they do the home visit ,mind you they were quite nice and easy going ,especially when they asked my wife how long we had been together and it was 21 years .

has anyone had any problems there with marriage visa?

New Series of Cold Feet just started , also Busted in Bangkok ,first episode has Pattaya in it .

trouble is ,to many new series all at the same time ,

yes ,but the IRA were not going all over the world ,blowing up civilians ,of other faiths ,unlike the Muslim terrorists ,thats why i said not to bother including them ,that was our own problem in our own country .

Just started a new series of Death in Paradise ,all the usual places, , 

also dont know if any of you will like this  but a series of Documentries  called GORE is out there ,its all pictures and film of dead bodies executions ,etc etc , i remember it from years ago ,then it was banned ,quite a few Thai bits in some of the episodes ,those of you who have been here a long time may even remember the magazines that you could buy of death ,executions ,decapadated bodies ,you name it .

Why ,because i had a business in BKK met the wife while there , got talking ,became friends ,then started a relationship ,fell in love ,got married a year or so later ,funny i met my first wife who was English like that ,never wondered why i married an English girl ,so why wonder why i married a Thai girl .?

As i said in the beginning looking more and more like they shot the plane down themselves ,more than likely ,by accident ,that or plain stupidity by the ones who fired the missile.
