I have said before that i have been in  dozens of condo blocks in Pattaya ,there are very very few where i would want to rent ,much less buy ,bad workmanship ,Chinese in them(a nightmare), some of the older blocks are nice ,also we have friends living in an older block which is very nice ,mind you ,it cost a bloomin fortune .and is massive . as for the shoeboxes that some people call a condo ,where much less swing a cat ,you couldnt swing a mouse ,it must be rough to have to actually live in one .some are smaller than the bedroom in our house .

and yes i do believe there is an oversupply ,

I dont think anything will change ,its just the Thai mindset ,you can take a horse to water ,but you cant make it drink .,yesterday i had to slam on the brakes ,as a guy pulled out of a sideroad a few feet in front of me ,he just gave me a blank look as if i was to blame , you cant heal stupid .

I know that this will not help you ,but anyone living in the Pattaya area ,go to the queen Sirakit hospital in Satahip ,i get all my tests done every 6 months ,i have  a cataract and they found i had raised eye pressure which can lead to glaucoma ,excelent hospital ,for my tests i pay falang price ,350 baht . drops are extra ,they do all tests ,i had that one with the small dots only a week ago .

My wife is friends with quite a few business people ,one lady we know is quite high up in the car trade and flies all over the world ,so must know quite a bit ,she was talking the other day and said her company has thousands of cars stored as they cannot sell them ,things are very bad ,her words not mine .

Usually the home visit is later the same day as you apply, (with 10 mins notice, lol) you will need a Thai with ID handy as the witness. Best to have condo office staff (or similar) as always available.

yes i had read it before ,but wanted something a little more up to date ,going for my 90 day tomorrow ,will ask her again ,but she is a bit on the miserable side ,would like to know if we need to take a witness or have pics with one outside our house etc .i know the "rules" can change from day to day and officer to officer .????

Thanks for any replies ,i have a list in Thai from the woman in charge at Jomtien,but as we all know its best to find out first hand from someone who has done it ,this is my first time ,always used retirement before 

the house is in my wifes name ,i have a yellow book,and we were married in UK but all that paperwork done and have kor ror 22

so would just like to know what they exactly require
