Still the testing is around 50K and has been for a while. Even if you add rapid tests it does seem as if things are coming down a bit. Normally im pretty conservative but i do see a ray of hope.

Yes it sucked but around the same time of the pushback i got a message from a SG friend who said the Singaporean Chamber of commerce had Pfizer in offer. But they said its Singaporeans first then other nationalities. I got a link that was posted on facebook and i registered and last week i had my first Pfizer shot now in about 2 weeks I will have my second. So in the end it all worked out well. It was an open registration but not much publicity was given and there were no age limits just that you should not have received any other shots yet. So all the Singaporean friends were like wow lucky guy we were first getting astra or shinovax through our companies but had we waited we would have pfizer. All the people i saw were younger then me (i am 47) and i saw only a few white faces.

The problem is can you look into her finances ? Who know what kind of mortgage she has to service. I mean its easy to always blame banks and people who rent out properties but they have obligations too. (bit less so for banks they have reserves). But i feel people often think to easy about shifting their problems to others.

I reserved and paid for something advertised 4th quater and now i got a notification that its pushed back the 1st quarter. I paid somewhere in june.

in this case we are talking about a pandemic where when an employee is sick others need to be quarantined business shut down so its a different thing. But not denying you got a point.

We are not all from the UK where I come from the government supports businesses when they have a woman on maternity leave. So the business owner does not bear the risk. On a side note maybe the UK does too but you don't know it. I know for a fact that in the Netherlands the government helps as i seen the money deposited to business owners.

Im ok with employees not taking a shot if they accept that sick days from covid are not paid for. Why should a company bear the risk for your beliefs. Why don't you accept that your choice of no vax has consequences ? You seem to only want it your way.

Ah it happens a lot for Germans and Dutch to be mixed. They will say im Deutsch sound a lot like Dutch. I am Dutch so i take notice when it happens.

Not that it makes much difference to what happened. Not a bright thing to do but not strange in my time around the islands we often to tow back canoes (when we rented a long tail boat). People often have no clue how far something is and how hard it can get. I almost got caught out a few times too going to islands of the island i was visiting. It was often a far longer trip then expected. But in this case they should have taken the weather in account.

Yes but you do seem to have enough time to think about it as you said it ages ago. Perhaps you just get off on making unfounded remarks based on your bias. If you state something about copying a vaccine and something you warned about in the past and thought about it would only be normal to check if the vaccines were similar. But then again people with the urge to bash Thailand all the time often don't like facts.

Maybe, just maybe you should not make dumb comments before you know what your talking about. Astra and the this vaccine are different. Astra is not an mRNA vaccine. This is closer to Pfizer and moderna. So next time before you let your bias show research a bit.

It really depends on how much you trust the moderna in October, mine was pushed back to q1 next year from october. So if your sure you get it just wait it out otherwise Shinovax is better then nothing.

That is all good and nice but if you cant read the original cd rom then you cant put it onto an usb drive.

I think they were bad but it was just a day and a night. So well worth it. But everyone responds differently my elderly parents had pfizer too and did not have a problem at all. I would not worry too much if i were you. But i was happy GF was around to bring me water and keep me warm when needed. Alone it would have been worse. Its not as if i never had a fever. This was just a level up. (at least how it started). To be honest when i had no side effects after the first 2 days i thought i was in the clear. And i assume it was the pfizer shot, but can't be 100% sure as the action was delayed and did not come in the first 2 days. But on the 4th day. I cannot of course 100% say it was pfizer. But I would take the shot again knowing that this would happen.

Not a problem don't see why the anwser would change anything most people try to get vaccinated anyway. Just a small group of holdouts. I have been asked it quite a few times before by friends who had their first shot and i had to reply no. Now I have had my first shot too. Did think that i have had an delayed reaction to it, had a high fever and could not stop shaking. Had to go to bed and stay there even with GF holding me tight in bed sharing body warmth and a thick blanket i was shivering and at the same time sweating like crazy. Not a pleasant night, next day still fever but lower and less shaking. Now im ok again. Not a fun experience. I have had fevers like this but never so bad that it left muscle ache from the contractions of the shivering and when it set on i could hardly breathe (just for a few minutes). But it was 4 days after the shot. Still its the most likely explanation.

I find it a bit naïve for you to trust the government its numbers. You seen secret memo's leaked about vaccines proving they lie and fudge numbers. What makes you think they don't do the same for these numbers. But I wish that these numbers are real because like everyone else i want out of this situation. I had my first shot and will get a second in 3 weeks so im not to worried about getting infected. However that does not make me trust the government. I mean how often do they tell the truth and the fact that is comes at the same time the PM said it would makes it suspicious. Still its a small ray of hope. But if the death numbers don't go down in a week or so then its all a lie.

I think its a bit hard for the government to cut the rent for property they don't own at best there might be some support for the government to cover rent.

In a perfect world where they would confirm a rapid test by a pcr test yes. But his is Thailand and they don't so you will have to count them. That is the problem in this country they want the number to look good. Anyway i keep looking at the amount of people on ventilators and icu that gives a far better number. But because death rates lag behind we can't really use them but if they are the same in a week then someone is telling lies. Lets hope for once that the Thai government is not fudging the numbers and lying it would be a miracle but a welcome one. Nobody wants this to last forever. I want my freedom back. Its just that i dont trust any Thai government anymore after.. Bangkok wont flood there wont be flood and my house flooded (something they could have een comming with small planes and the like). So even if they have information to the contrary they only release it if they can't deny it.

Was exactly what i was going to ask. You can indeed change files from cdrom to an usb drive but you need to be able to read the cdrom drive first. So that wont help you.

Never read something that its mandatory, and the landlady has a point you got a contract and are eligible to pay. It sucks but not all businesses give deduction of rent but maybe someone else has better news.
