What i have read is that after 10 days or more your vaccine starts to work. But only after a second shot and a wait time are you fully protected. So basically they should treat people who have had only 1 shot and less then 10 days before getting the virus as unvaccinated.

Then guard dogs have a short life span if that is the correct answer. I would certainly say that in this case gaps in the fence make the lady liable. But if a property is fenced of and signed and the person has no legal rights to be on the property then its the individuals problem. In this case the ladies problem for not fencing the dogs in properly and providing signage. I am all for putting free roaming dogs who attack people down. Not dogs that protect their property inside a property that is fenced of. My dog oldest dog bit someone too (minor nip did not really penetrate) but the guy who got bit was asking for it.. sneaking up behind my gf and grabbing her as a joke. In this case id say the area is not fenced off properly someone can easily stick his arm through the gate. But if proper care was taken to fence the area off, signs were placed and the person was NOT allowed to be there legally it would be a hard case to be found guilty. Of course because of the gaps in the fence like that and no sign that is not the case here.

@richard_smith237 Just looked it up if you have a good fence and you have a sign no trespassing and beware of dog then the chances that someone trespassing can sue you and get compensation is quite limited. But laws vary per place. It really depends on how much trouble the owner has gone through to fence of an area ( if they can still stick arms in and such then its not fenced of good). IF the person really had to take effort to get in and is not supposed to be there (trespassing) then dog owners have a really good case. But again the law can vary per area.

I disagree if its a fenced off area and you climb to get in with signs showing dangerous dogs then your at fault. I am talking about a fenced of area with signs saying beware dangerous dogs. Then for sure the person climbing over and getting attacked is at fault. Is a zoo liable if you climb into the polar bear pen ?

If there would have been a sign it would have been the mistake of the guy now its the mistake of the ladies. Certainly not of the dogs they just did what they are trained to do. Probably not a popular post with the dog haters here. But anyone who gets on a dogs territory by going over a fence is at fault. If it is of course properly visible with signs that the dogs are dangerous.

Sure that is business, the EU just wanted a better vaccine. I mean their choice and their budget. Pfizer just used that. Too bad for Europe but that is how business works. The fact that Astra did not deliver on time and gave the UK first would have something to do with it too. Anyway it cost the Eu money. But personally think they made the right choice given the low infection rate now in the Netherlands compared to those in the UK. We have 7 deaths UK had 111 deaths with a country 4 times larger. So seems other vaccines might work better then Astra. But that is just pure speculation on my part by comparing deaths.

Its not a matter of being able to afford it is a matter of value for money. Who likes a quarantine and then having to pay for it. Better go somewhere where its not needed.

No i did not que jump made use of a valid option just like other people que jumping is paying money using influence to get in line. I like your fire analogy lets dive a bit deeper. I am in a fire and i am looking for a way out for me and my loved ones. But all exits are locked. I am not that concerned about other people as that is the duty of the fire brigade. During my search for an exit i call for help and the fire brigade rescues some people and they they rescue me but there are still older people in the building. In short your comparison is invalid. You write that foreigners should be surprised.. yea I would be really suprised if my moaning and commenting actually changed something opposed to Thais who can vote and protest to change a goverment. Just for my understanding how can powerless foreigners bring in a military junta ? Did foreigners protests ? did they vote later on for the parties that helped the military (oh they can't vote). You can be positive if there is a reason to be positive, 500K vax is positive and good news. But pipe dreams of TAT are just that pipe dreams. I prefer a bit realism. I prefer not to choose between the two evils. But Thaksin would probably be a bit better because he has less power. That would make it harder for him to push too much corrupt stuff through. This government has more power and easier to push corrupt stuff through though its getting harder. But truth be told the differnces would be minor. I also would say Thannathorn would have been the best leader but he does not have enough support.

Lets hope she got punished. I am not sure what happend to the PTP guys who voted with others cards (even worse). But i mentioned this only because of the similarities and hypocrisy. I am under 60 have signed up for moderna that got pushed back. All I did was register somewhere where others could register too. So it was a fair playingfield. I just got the information fast because i had some friends who look at facebook (i dont). Morally i would feel it would be indefensible if it was sure that the vaccine that i took would have gone to someone better, but that was not the case. They set the rules and anyone could register with SG people having priority. So had i not taken it someone else probably even younger then me would have taken it. Most people who were there were far younger then me. But i was not the only white guy so they really let everyone in. But yes it could have been given to someone else if there was a functioning system. This is just a government cock up that i took advantage of. But how about workers far younger that take shots before old people (is being done too). Fact is there are so many exceptions and strange things like for instance in Phuket everyone gets vaccinated younger too for the sandbox. Is that defensible. Like i said i would feel bad if i took advantage in a working system. Now I just was lucky and you could have been too had you seen that post and filled in the link.
