  1. Logic tells me yes. For example, a prepacked fresh cheese and ham sandwich will have the same barcode at check out whether in Pattaya, Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai or Khon Kaen. I may be wrong.
  2. If the mother of this newborn child gets to know its fate. she will be horrified and ashamed. RIP newly born baby - you should be suckling milk, not providing nourishment for a lizard!
  3. TAT take note - another one of your quality tourists!
  4. Yes indeed, I take amoxycillin pills and they are orange and white.
  5. More zero dollar Chinese visitors staying in Chinese owned hotels, eating at Chinese owned restaurants and taking tours with Chinese owned tour companies?
  6. With respect, good, bad and much drivel is being written here in AN on this topic. Throughout most of my life (now 80+) I have relied on a paracetamol tablet taken with a hot drink (coffee, tea, squash, water etc.) to relieve the symptoms. Yes, I have had flu vaccinations and spent a couple of days indoors until the symptoms ease. This is my personal choice and it suits me after so many years. I hate facemasks and never wear them unless mandated to do so. No further comment from me.
  7. Thanks for the information but with respect, I live in retirement in Cambodia so all this TDAC and other nonsense does not apply to me when it comes to visas. That is why I destroyed my form after clearing entry into Thailand - no further use.
  8. Hi Sheryl. A few days ago I crossed into Thailand via the O'Smach land border crossing from Cambodia. I presented my passport with my TDAC printed paper form. (no smartphone). The IO scanned and stamped my passport. This was returned to me along with the TDAC form. I asked if he should keep the TDAC form and he said no. All had been completed. I destroyed the TDAC form. I presumed the relevant information was already on Thai Immigration's computer.
  9. For reference, this coming Sunday is also Visakha Bucha Day in Cambodia. There will be no alcohol bans throughout the country. Here in Siem Reap, Pub Street with all its bars and licensed restaurants will be OPEN as normal. Thailand - the hub of religious dinosaurs! (with due respect to Buddhism)

  12. Very strange it is only Thailand - the hub of Covid paranoia. There are no apparent resurgences in neighboring countries, in fact I Googled to research any other resurgences and there were none. Perhaps this Dr Thira releases scaremongering information to keep himself employed! Happy I live in Cambodia. I will remove my old mask from its shelf and brush off the dust ready to wear - just in case I have to visit Thailand. No further comment from me.
  13. I am no longer in Thailand, or Vietnam - I'm in Cambodia, an easy and hassle free country with no financial or bureaucratic administration especially regarding visas.
  14. Well I never - Mister Cannabis Anutin's party. Let us hope all his corrupt Senator's are weeded from their posts!!
  15. Her problem could have easily been resolved by just getting up and finding another cafe that did allow the wearing of shoes!
  16. Not absurd at all. I still use my old 3G Nokia mobile phone which suits me in making phone calls and text messages. None of this app rubbish. I use my personal home computer and Epson printer for all my needs, including TDAC registration form.
  17. You cannot resort to a paper TM6 - as I recently discovered at a land border crossing between Cambodia and Thailand. Form TM6 no longer exists. I do not have a smartphone. I completed a TDAC form from the Thai Immigration website on my computer and received a pdf file to download once my details had been processed. I then printed off the A4 sized paper TDAC form three days before my entry into Thailand. On this TDAC form is a QR code which is checked along with your passport at the border crossing. Everything went well and I was cleared entry into Thailand for 60 days. My passport and the paper TDAC form were returned to me. The TDAC form has now been destroyed by me - it is no longer relevant. If you do not have a smartphone or access to a computer with print facilities, then you may be snookered unless a friend or agent allows you access to theirs. You need a TDAC QR code.
  18. A possibility:- The third season of “The White Lotus” wrapped Sunday night, capping off the popular HBO show’s most viewed season yet, which averaged about 15 million viewers per episode. A major point of conversation online over the past few weeks has centered on the “suicide” tree featured in the show and the poisonous fruit it produces. The suicide tree is very real and can be very dangerous, explains Jing-Ke Weng, a Northeastern professor of chemistry and chemical biology and the inaugural director of the Institute for Plant Human Interface, which studies the toxin made by the suicide tree plant and its relatives. While he doesn’t watch “The White Lotus,” Weng says he appreciates the show spotlighting the pong pong tree. https://news.northeastern.edu/2025/04/08/suicide-tree-white-lotus/
