They need to lift those large concrete box drains into position. The road should be closed off to operate at a safe distance from overhead cables, while lifting into place.

Not sure if it was the same area but i was sitting at the lights i think at the end of this soi and a similer mechine was demolishing a large building using a hydrolic hammer attachment, I was really concerned it would collapse into the road, bringing power cables with it, scarey place indead. safe and trusted thailand my ass.

Hence the distance rules and laws in real countries when operating cranes and the like in close proximity to power lines, I saw the original footage the mechine operator quickly distanced himself by driving away from the fire he caused, lucky he didn't grab the door to get out. They were Power cables.

Hi, My daughter will be entering Thailand from UK for the first time, I don't like the idea of her carrying 20k THB nearly 500 GBP on her, are they checking ? If she tells them she is staying with me, (they can phone me), she will only be here for 2 weeks. Thanks in advance

Your wife is correct, some people call them vinigar flys. They are attracted to almost any food, fruit (lemons, tomatoes), beer, empty yoghurt pots, that are left out, dish cloths ect. Putting the plug in the sink helps to stop them them around that area.

the staff seem ok but since a new postman started about 2.5 years ago, he is too lazy to come up my small soi, he knows where my house is, after threatening to make a police report to head office 'no mail for 2 years' I got 6mths of mail delivered all at once.

If they can find it, years ago I found mine sitting on a table in the corner of the sorting room, before they could track it on their computer.

My postman delivers NAFF all, i got my OZ pp sent to a friend's place, who then sent him to my house, next day i got 3months of undelivered mail 2nd delivery in 2.5 years ! nothing since of course. (7weeks and 4days for new OZ pp)
