  1. The only difference from a Chanote and a Nor Sor Sam Gor is the the later does not guarantee land size, which can be confirmed by a proper survey.
  2. I'm glad I decided to not use WR Life, especially after reading these comments. I had a chat with a rep that told me my policy was approved including pre-existing hypertension. When I mentioned a minor knee injury 5 years ago he said don't worry about it, your already approved. When I told him I wanted to be sure, underwriting told him (me) it would not be covered for 5 years. Plus the fact that he was giving me conflicting info from their webpage, seems to me it was all about his commission. WR Life will increase your premium 3% annually, forever, on any claim over $10,000.
  3. Use your BKK bank app on your phone to request the statements you need. (You cannot do it from your computer). You'll get the PDF from the bank on your computer via email. You can then print it out, IO here said I can use it if BKK bank puts their stamp on. The bank has no problem doing that as long as it's yours.
  4. If it's so smart, why don't it bring the containers closer together and eliminate all the walking?
  5. Or just do them online.
  6. I'm married to one (not in debt though) and have full IP and OP at all government hospitals and facilities. Walk (or limp in) and walk out. 0 Baht 🚑
  7. Thanks, I'll give it a try. 15K huh? Sweet
  8. I use them a lot, mostly COD. I've had to return broken and wrong item's a few times for credit. Be sure if it's something that might get broken, take pics of the package and opening process to get the refund credited to your "wallet. Unfortunately, as a non-Thai you cannot retrive the funds as it must me by a Thai national. The wife and I have tried it many times and the process is daunting. (Scanning her ID card at the right time, for the right quality is near impossible. I've over 1000 Baht accrued and hope to use it some day. I shall not surrender.
  9. About 7-8 years ago my wife's sister asked me if I could try to her a B2 visa to the US. She'd been a pharmacist in Pattaya for many years, but not much accrued funds to speak of. I made the application, paid the non-refundable fee, submitted all her business licenses and pics of her shop. She got her 10 year B2 visa without a hitch. She's now a chef for a Thai restaurant in PA. and hasn't come back yet.
  10. Agree with Bagwain. Check the basket on the pump suction side for air and forget the smoke test. Isolating parts of the system via valves will show leaks at connections that are pressurized.
  11. They might have been confused, but ya gotta follow that Yellow Brick Road. When I went back yesterday to apply for the non O the front line girl was pretty adamant that my wife needed to be with me for an interview before her boss (my friend) stepped in to tell her it was ok. A few minutes later she wanted the map to my house, again the boss interceded on my behalf. They ended up calling my wife while I was there and sending four pages home with me for her to sign, which I took back today verifying that she was indeed married to me and knew what I was doing. Almost three hours into it and too many signatures yesterday, I was set free, (minus my 2000 Baht). Today they told me to come back on 8 November as my application of stay was "under consideration". I was also advised about the aged funds and different schemes allowed, but they also told me upon renewal I'd have to call the bank a week ahead of time to get the full 12 months of statements. What a mess. We all know that there is no continuity in the IO's, and they are indeed "confused" I can't see how all these different variances are dealt with in BKK.
