my agency do everything really good and cheap. I suggested to many people here and they are all happy. Bur you need to come here first so she can help.
I strongly suggest you not to use thaivisa agency. They will charge you like crazy amount. Yes, many people are happy with their service so it has to be good, but if you will get what you want for the half price of them... well.. no need to make more comments.
If its your first time my agency will charge you max 30K. from second time its max 18K. No blah blah, no game, no BS
Like i said using for 2 years. No headache nothing. And people i suggested are also really happy.
Also its working with really big people.. and i mean it. so there is no risk.
If you want more info message me.

I suggest you to tell your wife to calm down when teaching that kid. If she cannot then not to teach the kid.
If the kid is having some problems in learning.. you cannot make it better with higher voice or anger. You need to be more soft and understanding.
About your kid going to Thai private school. I dont think you need to feel bad or worry about it. Because its a private school and education is a very big business in Thailand and really big big money in it. So i think you got the point.
About your girlfriend mimicking her former teachers... Thats a good observation from you. its up to your girlfriends education background and age. Such as where she studied, in the city or urban. if she is 40 up probably saw some thai teachers hitting students and likewise things. I must say new generation teachers are really better. Like 10 years doing the work teachers.
Sadly in many government schools, education is a joke. Both from farang and thai teachers. Farangs they all know students dont care about the lesson or else. And most of them are there just for some income and long stay visa. For thai teachers again if its not the new generation teachers (10 years) they dont even care about the education there. I remember few things my teacher friends told and it was like nightmare stories. in private schools situation is little bit better. Although lot of politics going on in the school too. Again both for thai and farang teachers. Thai teachers fight for position with each other and farangs fight with each other just to stay 1 more year there. I know many farang teachers talking bad behind to thai teachers about the other farang teacher when ever the other one leaves the room. This is just to show they are better than other farangs so can stay here longer. And many stupid things like this.
In thai education evaluation results from students is very important. So actually teachers cannot do too much about students. Think like this, students play with the phone and most of the teachers cannot do anything about it because when students evaluate teacher.. they remember they took his/her phone in the middle of the game...
i thought marketing and logistics at a university in thailand when i first arrived to country for 4 years. i have lot of teacher friends too. Some of them were like i would not even look at their faces if i met them on the street (this is because of their habits or the example i gave like talk behind you and mostly lies), some i wish i didnt meet... I know and heard many real bad stories. I know how stupid the job is and working conditions are. luckily i found a work with my real background and very happy now. im working for thai army for 12 years now.
Wishing you good luck with your kids education bro.

UPDATE:
Bangkok Bank called every 900 employee and apologies big time. They said they should write a better transaction reason than purchasing goods. Also they mentioned that they have the right to do a transfer if the transferer make a legal request with the proof. They also apologies about not sending any sms or likewise before or after transaction. The reason why they couldnt do that was because it was not easy to reach 900 people at that time and they had to act fast (stupid reason in my opinion), but now because they got complain about this around 850 they decided that they will write an official letter to every 900 people saying and explaining the mistake. They totally accepted that it was their bad and mistake that they didnt notify people before and after.
So, basically they have the right to play with the bank account BUT they had to notify people which they didnt. Now they have to do more things just because of some lazy supervisor. I really think Bangkok Bank is one of the worst banks in thailand. I know many people dont agree but in 16 years i never had this much problems with other banks than i had with bangkok bank.
Anyway not a big thing.. at least they know how to accept their mistake.

Suggest you check with the others who told you they were also paid twice. Ask if the deposit was reversed and what the reason was that is shown on their account.
you should notify your employer of the situation and include all of the facts. Put it in writing to the employer. Create a paper trail and then….relax!
yes, all other even thai's got double payment. the problem was our account department ordered the payment 2 times. And when we started to call them they realized and informed the bank about the bank. thanks

The only thing you can do is moving your salary to your K-Bank account when it arrives. But I never saw, that a Thai company will transfer your salary to another account than their house-bank!About your problem in general... I think you are right about the should use a different wording.
But that they took their money back without informing you I think is in their right
you are right. Thats a funny fact and i dont understand this either.
7 hours ago, Caldera said:They reversed a transaction that was clearly in error. I'm pretty sure that, if you dig deep enough, you'll find a clause in their terms that allows them to do this.
right, im also sure they have something for these kind of situations. but one of the law students (doing his master) told me that again international bank law says they had to notify me.

I had a double deposit a couple of times in the UK. UK employer, UK bank. They simply reversed the deposit and it appeared on my statement as "Correction".
Note that the bank didn't call me or anything, they just fixed the error, no drama, no worry.
I agree that tagging it as "Purchase of Goods" is counter-intuitive.
Yes.. that was all i tried to explain here. Thnx

No. But saying re-transaction or something like that in the reqson would be nice instead of purchasing goods

You need to send this bank a firm message and teach them a lesson about the consequences of poor customer service.
Get in your car, put on the seatbelt, roll up the windows and drive thru the banks front window at high speed.
Will do that. Should i use the horn as well?

I think everyone should understand that im not complaining or doing drama about the bank took the money back or else. I have no problem with this. Its as expected.
My point is the way they did it. I dont understand why people can feel its ok about this.

Your employer requested a reversal of the second transfer.
whats the issue.... did you speak to your employer ?
Sure i did.
Its normal they asked for that but the bank didnt notify me or call me or else plus at my mobile app i see they wrote purchased goods. So.. what did i purchased? Where when what? If my employer says tomorrow guys we need an evidence that you dont have that money anymore, should i show the transection saying purchased goods? Really? Is this the best bangkok bank can do?

Well basically no proper reply to my main question and just trolling or playing around..
At this point ì dont feel safe with bangkok bank because they can play with my account as they wish.
Even my employer requested retransfer the transaction reason they put is nonsense i dont understand why people cant see it. Why they dont say re-transaction.. or something better than purchase goods??!! If you guys feel ok or feel its good time to joke.. then sorry for you guys.
Also correct me if im wrong but bank law says they can freeze my account only with police order OR do a transaction like this without my acknowledge.
Im not going to make this a big issue or like that, but my point is the way they did this was really not ok and i think not legal.
As i said we all know somehow they will ask this money back.. but not like this.
Im moving to kasikorn. Its a great bank

Hi guys,
i had a very interesting situation with bangkok bank. And i really need some advice on this matter.
This morning i got my salary but some how i got double paid! the transfer is auto. Came to my account morning. Talked with other people at the work and they said that same thing happened to them too. WOW. obviously account gave the payment order 2 times. Not a big deal. i mean its obvious that money will stay in my bank account.
Then this afternoon around 4pm suddenly Bangkok bank took back the 1 month salary from my bank account without any warning.. call.. sms.. just transfer 1 month amount from my account.. just like that. I checked the financal movement in my bank account via mobile app, and it was saying PURCHASE OF GOODS! i was like <deleted>, what did i buy? from all people at work too.
Called the Bangkok bank call center. I told them whats going on. They explained me i have paid 2 times. Well ok i know that but HOW DARE you can play with my bank account without telling me? and giving a reason for purchase goods? really? The worst scenario how i can prove to my work that i dont have the money anymore?! Or forget about anything... how can they take back that money without my permission! who gave the authority to them! If im not mistaken, even some transfer accidently happen, still they need to tell me or notify me. and what about the transaction reason: purchase goods?! Well.. lady told me she is taking this to her supervisor and he/she will call me back. im waiting.
So i was wondering if they can do that or not? or other comments?
thanks

Hi guys,
Have a phillipino friend in trouble. His last visa was non-b with work permit and all. After he stopped working covid happened. So for some reason he didnt or couldnt get a visa. Now its 3 years with over stay situation. He didnt canceled his nonb either.
He just found a new work but as you can see have a big visa problem. Over stay 3 years.
Plans:
A) will leave the country by paying 20.000 baht and come back. Question is.. can he? He will get banned?
B) agency will fix it but really expensive.
Suggestions... thnx

hi
its all about the contract.. if they mention 2 years in your contract you can get your wp 2 years.
but tbh thai ppl dont like to do that. there are many reasons for that why they dont want to do.
first reason is because when you sign your contract 1 year and 1 year they can avoid many things.

i also read somewhere that they will start to take tax starting from next month or other month

yes, after the 2nd shot you should get paper certificate.
You should note your registration number, if you lose this certificate.
Just in case I would download mor prompt application, activate it using this number and your mobile phone number.
It will show your certificate, which you can screen shot, save as a picture, forward to your email or even to your wife (just if she will need it for some purpose - for example when you are taking ill for side effects or hospital or authorities need it in some situation).
After that you can hide this application or even remove it completely from your smartphone.
But it's always good to have some info in digital form.
pcr and atk tests, antibody tests can be automatically added there, as well as record of illness from covid. That would allow you to travel without having to show several papers, certificates.
hi,
i was wondering how did you activate your Mor-prompt app? i have my number but the thing is to register that app i need a thai citizen id number. Because when the app starts its asking my id number and password. You cannot register it with your passport ID
so my id number is my vaccine number and password is my phone number?

I didnt read 5 pages. I directly answered the OP's clear question.
But thank you for proving me right about thaivisa agency. Because they chrage you 35K whatever your situation is. Also i remember they were posting on this forum like it will be higher after few months. But you said there are agencies still doing it for 15K..
thanks
