  10. Toyota UK and its sister company Lexus UK , offers the best car warranty policy. Here’s how it works: like most other manufacturers, the basic cover you get is limited to three years or 60,000 miles, whichever happens first. However. Every time you have your car serviced according to schedule at a Toyota main dealer, your warranty cover is automatically extended for another year or 10,000 miles, up to a maximum of 10 years or 100,000 miles. https://www.cargurus.co.uk/Cars/articles/best-car-warranties-uk
  11. The Government wants high reservations numbers at the Motor show as it shows a reflection of the current economy and they believe that investors will invest more if the reservations numbers at the Motor show are High However there are other sections of the Government that want those high reservations numbers only to be converted into registrations if the buyers can afford it and currently don't have a high outstanding household debt I think the BYD reservations numbers were accurate as they stated before the motor show started they had a stock of 7,000 2023 models and the final numbers were approx 5,000 reservations reservations deposits were between B1,000-B10,000 I expect that the 53,438 total motor show reservations which include 17,517 ev registrations will be reduced by 50% over the registrations months of May for end of March motor show reservations and June registrations for April motor show reservations assuming that the vehicles with the exception of BYD 2023 models weren't in stock at the time of the reservation https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=814645387366565&id=100064633334264&set=a.513637977467309

  14. Clearly the ICC doesn't believe the USA or Israel playing the 3 wise monkeys card see no evil, hears no evil, speak no evil https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_wise_monkeys The International Criminal Court is probing Israel's actions in the West Bank and Gaza, independent of other cases at the International Court of Justice, such as South Africa's genocide claims against Israel in Gaza. The ICC is currently investigating Israel’s actions in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The ICC case is separate from other cases brought against Israel at the International Court of Justice, including one filed by South Africa accusing Israel of committing genocide in Gaza. https://www.euronews.com/2024/04/29/international-criminal-court-considering-issuing-arrest-warrant-for-netanyahu
  15. I Agree Poor Reporting as they don't know the difference between sales and registrations There are no tracking of sales Indeed, January 2024 began well. EV sales for the month came to 13,653 new cars. In turn, this was 20.5% of what was already a depressed car market this year in Thailand. https://www.thaiexaminer.com/thai-news-foreigners/2024/04/26/sales-of-ev-cars-fell-in-thailand-in-february-and-march-2024/ January figures of 13,653 registrations are December 2023 sales BYD report sales of 37,000 for the whole of 2023 however if you exclude December sales that figure drops to 29,000
  16. I have never heard of them but the source of the article is Preply, an online language-learning marketplace, has released its rankings on the top ten cities for expats moving to Asia in 2024. 17. UK EXTREMISM ADVISER HAS BEEN FUNDED BY ISRAEL LOBBY John Woodcock, the government’s man urging MPs to stop engaging with pro-Palestine groups, has accepted Israel lobby funding amid the Gaza genocide. Yet Woodcock can hardly be considered independent. He has previously worked with the Israel lobby and has even accepted funding from it amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Declassified has found. https://www.declassifieduk.org/uk-extremism-adviser-has-been-funded-by-israel-lobby/
  18. I think the majority of parts for EV's are supplied from China There will be a EV supply chain park opening at the end of this year In current terms of economy, jobs supply chain ICE is the key provider example toyota hilux built in Thailand as built 90% from locally supported parts https://aseannow.com/topic/1325045-chinese-firms-eye-ev-supply-chain-in-thailand’s-smart-park/#comment-18846391
  19. Chinese EVs Become Virtually Uninsurable In UK Even Though There’s Nothing Wrong With Them Lack of parts, Long period off the road waiting for parts from China ,No documentation on how to repair vehicles, mismatch in the viability of repairs Chinese costs vs European Costs No Supply Chain https://www.carscoops.com/2024/03/chinese-evs-become-virtually-uninsurable-in-the-uk-says-report/
  20. Its only nonsense from your point of view clearly this subject is being discussed by many different groups from the video in the op to the Bloomberg article and not everyone agrees with your point of view
  21. The will look at which group of vehicles that where the number of deaths and serious injury are increasing to an unacceptable level due to extreme acceleration if ICE vehicles come into that group then or course they will apply similar measures to ICE vehicles but if they don't then there is no need to apply 3 years ago if someone stated on these forums that in 2024 there would be a separate policy definition for car insurance for EV compared to ICE vehicles and that there would be sliding scale on the amount for battery coverage they would have been told it will never happen Porsche, Rimac & Lotus will do the same as every other brand that needs to adjust because laws change If you go back 80 years there was stiff opposition from customers regarding the installation of seat belts some customers requested the manufacturers removed them when fitting became mandatory some customers challenged seat-belt laws in court https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seat_belt At the end of day EV's are about climate change not extreme acceleration so i imagined that any courts cases for maintaining EV extreme acceleration would be rejected and thrown out but we will have to wait and see
  22. Seems I have hit a nerve with you I expect it will be mandatory the 0-100 km acceleration must be higher than 5.0 for road cars and lower than 5.0 for track cars not licensed for road use https://ev-database.org/cheatsheet/acceleration-electric-car End of the line for demon king drivers
  23. Thailand is known to be one of the most unsafe countries worldwide when measured by the proportion of people who die in a road traffic accident. In its most recent global report (2018), the WHO ranks Thailand as the number 9 country with the highest road traffic death rate, with 32.7 deaths per 100,000 population (2018) We know what the main causes of accidents are: motorcyclists not wearing a helmet, people drinking and driving, and speeding. These three risk behaviors, often combined, make traffic dangerous for both the drivers and the passengers, but also for pedestrians, bicyclists and other road users. https://www.who.int/thailand/news/detail/03-01-2023-a-new-year-s-resolution--for-life Once we have seen a major accident in Thailand resulting in a number of children deaths and the root cause of the accident was ev extreme acceleration I expect the Government will pass laws that mandate acceleration be limited in EV
  24. If you ask MG for a guarantee that they wouldn't apply any changes to reducing the acceleration in their cars the stock answer will be Currently we have no plans to apply any changes that would result in limiting the acceleration in our cars however if we were mandated to apply such a change from the Transport safety office in your country then we would have no choice but to apply such a change
