The Op has already stated he doesn't want an EV and if you watch Phuket News he most likely to be correct in his thinking Everyday there reports of flooding in different districts in Phuket My understanding is there is only 5 charging stations for the whole of Phuket according to chargemap I know EV sales are slighty down for the 6 months of this year February to July 2024 compared to the same period in 2023 -
I repeated the same methodology for June Total EV registrations for June according to the A. Combine vehicles according to the automobile law. was 7,911 Remove R.Y.12 personal motorcycle numbers 2.090 and the total remaining is 5,821 Remove R.Y.3 personal truck numbers of 23 and the total remaining is 5,798 problem is that is 25 more than autolife June numbers of 5,773 now if I remove R.Y.8 Three-wheeled rental car 23 the difference between DLT and autolife is 2

Do you use the Pillows/cushions to achieve the sofa angled backrest as most of the Thai wooden long benches I have seen normally the backrest is not angled I assume natural latex mattress or high density foam cushion grade 50D would be suitable for cushion Here is video of a girl making her own sofa from plywood have to say end result looks good not sure about just using handsaw

No I don't , I thought someone on this forum might have since MG did apply the "lifetime warranty" to existing owners of certain models i am aware that Nissan USA is having problems sourcing some EV batteries where owners are being advised that they may need to wait for up to 12 months while Nissan tries to obtain the battery or Nissan has offered buyback offers which seem to be very generous where the buyback offer has been higher than the original net payment paid by the owner
-
You could be helpful as let everyone know since you placed a deposit on a MG Cyberster and I know you would have fully researched the vehicle which of the Lifetime Warranty? 3 Definitions applied to MG
-
What Is a Lifetime Warranty? 3 Definitions A lifetime warranty is a guarantee from the manufacturer or service provider that the product will be free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for a specified "lifetime" period. Lifetime may mean: 1)As long as the product is on the market. In these cases, the company will guarantee the product unless it is discontinued. 3)As long as the original owner owns the product. In this case, the company does not allow you to transfer the warranty to a new owner. 3)For the duration of the product's intended lifespan. In this case, the company will guarantee the product for a specified "lifespan". 20-30 years, Reading and understanding the T&C is important on products that offer a "Lifetime Warranty"

My understanding is of the 2 factories in Thailand they are consolidating all vehicle production into a single plant which they opened in 2016 and the older plant opened in 1996 will still remain open building car parts instead of vehicle production Likewise Honda closed its only vehicle production plant in Europe ( Swindon) in 2021 there was many reasons but at the time there was a new EU-Japan trade deal which "effectively removed tariffs on Japanese-built cars imported into Europe Hence vehicle production in Europe surplus to requirements

Both Honda and Toyota seem to be doing very well TOKYO (AP) — Honda reported Wednesday that its profit rose 8.7% in the April-June quarter as strong sales of hybrid vehicles in Japan and the U.S., and motorcycles in India and Brazil, boosted the Japanese automaker’s earnings. Honda Motor Co.’s profit in the last quarter totaled 394.7 billion yen ($2.7 billion), up from 363 billion yen a year earlier. Quarterly sales rose nearly 17% to 5.4 trillion yen ($36.7 billion). Eiji Fujimura, Honda’s chief financial officer, said the currency effect remained uncertain, but stressed that Honda was focused on delivering the right products to various markets, helping making it relatively resilient to currency effects. https://apnews.com/article/honda-japan-profit-motorcycles-67d85ea05c07e02569cfdc1f1a9195e0 TOKYO (AP) — Toyota reported Thursday that its April-June profit rose 1.7%, boosted by a favorable exchange rate, as vehicle sales grew around the world despite a certification scandal that halted production in Japan for several months. Stupid hybrid newbie questions (new Toyota Yaris Cross)

Hybrid Technology: While it may not run solely on the battery, the hybrid system significantly reduces fuel consumption and emissions. Would you agree that an EV cuts out emissions altogether? No it doesn't until the country is producing 100% zero carbon electricity many years away in the future Environmental Impact: The hybrid system helps lower your carbon footprint. By using less fuel and emitting fewer pollutants, you’re contributing to a cleaner environment. Would you agree that EVs` as they don’t emit pollutants, contribute more to a cleaner environment? For that to happen they would have to stop using petrolchemicals product such as plastic and tyres ExxonMobil see an increase with more EV's being produced 300 gallons or 1170 litres of petrochemicals products https://energyfactor.exxonmobil.asia/reducing-emissions/energy-efficiency/electric-vehicles-cant-without-oil-and-gas/ -
Check with the university as they might have minimum requirements if students are expected to work on large spreadsheets I know someone that runs ms office fine on a 2021 IPAD with keyboard and mouse I think they start around B10K here for a 64GB not sure why you would want a 2-1 laptop over a normal laptop as the 2-1 will be more expensive

I am not aware of anyone rebuilding an ICE battery normally if its no longer charging people simply replace

Tesla recalls 1.85 million US vehicles over unlatched hood issue https://www.reuters.com/business/autos-transportation/tesla-recall-over-18-mln-us-vehicles-2024-07-30/
-
And you never will as ICE batteries are known as consumables as they are expected to degraded over a number of years some battery manufacturers do offer a 5 year warranty
-
In the USA Nissan has chosen to buy back Nissan Leafs where the battery has degraded battery under warranty. more than the limit set in the owners manual Not sure why they are buying back instead of replacing the battery but from what i have read the buyback offers have been quite generous as for batteries lasting twenty years I have seen a single manufacturer claim that and as far as i know I haven't seen a single manufacturer offering a 20 year battery warranty
